Why brainy is blue on the tv adaptations but green on the comics? Like even in the cartoons he is blue? Why? Wtf

My crack theory is that since they brought Green Lantern and Green Arrow, they thought ‘ah…too much green. Brainy you gonna have to be a bit more blue ish’ 😂

As for real reasons why the JLU did that…no clue.

I mean the actual Legion of Supeheroes animated show had him green:

but he’s also an android which is not the case at all in the comics

I think the Supergirl show has him blue because…1. Might make it easier to use green screen with him? 2. Takes inspiration from the JLU and LoSH version (the colour and techno organic parts, respectively).

There was concept art I found (here) that shows they considered green…

And I prefer this suit, I like the lines!

There’s also a version that’s basically the current design, without the forehead implants and with blond hair.
