Why did Eve leave The Talk?
On November 2, 2020, Eve announced she planned on leaving The Talk because of the distance she has to travel from her London home to the show’s Studio City filming location.
AdvertisementAt the time, coronavirus travel measures also made it hard for Eve to go back and forth between work and home.
Due to the covid-19 flight restrictions, she was also co-hosting the program from her UK residence.
The rap superstar also mentioned her desire to expand her family with her husband Maximillion Cooper.

Eve reveals she's leaving The Talk after four seasons
The Emmy Award nominee revealed she was staying with the series until the end of December 2020.
She explained to her co-hosts: “It’s been a crazy year, obviously for all of us, and I’m so grateful that I’ve been able to stay here in London and do the show.
“But I can’t see for me, the foreseeable future, of my traveling back at the moment and have decided that at the end of December, this will probably be my last time on this show in this capacity as a host.
“This is one of the hardest decisions in the world because I wish I hated one of you but I don’t.

“I never thought being on a talk show would be this much of an opening of my spirit, soul, my personality, everything.

She further said: “I love these women. I truly love you. When people ask me ‘How is your relationship?’ I’m like, ‘I love these women. For real love. No BS, not PR, it’s real love.’
“Obviously staying home has been such a blessing because my husband and I got to know each other in a different way and in a beautiful way.

“I want to focus on being with my family and expanding my family.

On February 1, 2022, Eve and Maximillion Cooper welcomed their first child; a son named Wilde Wolf.
The hitmaker is also a stepmother to Max’s four older children from his former marriage to Julie Brangstrup.
Who replaced Eve?
On December 1, 2020, The Talk announced Amanda Kloots and Elaine Welteroth as Marie Osmond and Eve’s replacements.
The network’s statement followed speculation about who could potentially replace Eve and Marie.
AdvertisementAn insider told The U.S. Sun: “Diversity is really important to the network. Elaine is young and cool and a journalist so she has credibility and the ability to have an intelligent conversation.
“Not a huge name but neither were Sheryl Underwood or Carrie Ann Inaba when they started, so we would be fine growing a talent on the show.”
Since Eve’s departure from the series, Elaine Weltewroth, Sharon Osbourne, and Carrie Ann Inaba have also left the daytime show.
How can I watch The Talk?
Every Monday through Friday at 2pm EST, viewers can tune in to The Talk via CBS.
The program is also available to stream through Hulu, Paramount+, and Amazon Prime Video.
