I'm currently on an iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 10.1.1.

Recently I've had many of my friends tell me that the screenshots I've been sending them are too blurry to read. Photos taken with my camera send just fine. Below is an example. The first photo below is on my phone which is very clear. The second photo is that my friend receives and is very blurry. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I am such an idiot. I just found out I had "Low Quality Image Mode" turned on under Settings>Messages. I turned it off and my friends said they can read my screenshots now. Thank you for your reply!

Given that these phones have Retina screens and a screenshot will be at full resolution, I'm thinking that the resultant image might prove to be too much for smaller phones and are getting distorted when scaling down. Just checked a screenshot from my i6+ in My Photo Stream and it clocks in at 1242x2208. That could explain the why. As for the how, what are you using to send the pics?

Not surprising. Each successive iOS version has more and more bells & whistles, with corresponding levers, buttons and switches to configure. I'm imagining that the original iOS 1.0 must have been a truly boring monument in blandness.
