As a disclaimer, I just want to say that I'm not someone who is creating this topic for the purpose of spreading hate for her or supporting her. I'm just opening this discussion so us as Naruto fans can have a meaningful discussion about why we dislike the character without being toxic. I feel like often times people who dislike Sakura get lumped with the toxic ones who don't provide much rational for why they dislike her. So starting off with me, I admit that I hated Sakura when she was young. I just felt she was vain and arrogant in her interactions with Naruto and her regards for social status. However, I did have a different perspective on her from the beginning of Shippuden all the way up to the Five Kage Summit arc. I liked how much she grew in independence with having been trained in medical ninjutsu and physical strength. She also seemed a lot more mature in her view of Naruto. As the series progressed, she seemed to recognize Naruto's value to the village as well as appreciate the forward-thinking mindset of someone like him. I even speculated a possible NaruSaku pairing with the development I saw in their relationship. But, undoubtedly, Sakura's love confession to Naruto affected my feelings towards her. I don't hate it simply for the fact that she lied to Naruto about her decision to kill Sasuke by herself. But it just felt so unnecessary and awkward given the events that were going on during the Summit arc. Plus, it felt like an insult to Naruto as a character. While Naruto may not be that smart, it was just stupid to think that he would fall for something like that. He's been a teammate to Sakura for a long time and has known about the feelings she has for Sasuke. It was also just wrong for her to manipulate his feelings for her since he cared about her deeply. But that's just my take on it. You're free to refute what I said. But back to the question, what are your reasons for disliking Sakura?

Because and that‘s just my opinion, she‘s completely useless for all the overall 700+ episodes of Naruto and shippuden, except of course the 3 maybe 4 times she did something useful (mostly healing someone)

1. Sakura loves someone who treats her like trash, and tried to kill her. I have no respect for her whatsoever for that. 2. She claims to be caught up to Sasuke and Naruto despite contributed almost nothing to most fights. 3. She was a bitch and tried to get with Naruto out of pity. Even Naruto called her out. 4. No unique fighting moves at all besides in videogames. The only place Sakura is good is in netorare hentai tbh.

Personally don't hate her, I actually like her she's a medical ninja who comes in clutch in the war arc and saving Naruto after losing Kuruma in the war arc she's also a GOAT mother, but i can see why people don't like her. She is annoying in OG Naruto when all she does is complain and call apon help but others (I do understand she isn't strong in OG Naruto but like how can you belt Naruto into a pulp but not your enemy's 🤷‍♂️), she's love struck with Sasuke and it brings hers down (look at Ino and Hinata who both loved someone but still were strong) In Shippuden she's alot better, she trains with Tsunde and becomes a medical ninja, she comes in clutch in the war arc and saving Naruto after losing Kuruma in the war, however during the pain assault she was terrorfied and yet again called apon Naruto, she also put all the pressure of getting Sasuke back (yes I know he wanted to save his friend too) and then proceeded to tell Naruto she loves him so he wouldn't go and get hurt. She also starts to use her strength properly like in her fight with Sasori. (Yes she had help but she was really good still), she calls apon Naruto during the pain assault even though she tried with a legendary sanin (yes she saved Hinata and others during the assault but cried for Naruto) Sasuke tried to kill twice and she still loves him and then gets married to him, dhe also smashed her house when Sadara asks about the Uchiha's In summary she's annoying, she doesn't use get strength properly when she does it's time punch Naruto for bring a goofy boi or when she thinks he hurts Hinata, she always calls for help In some eyes her only good moments was when she saved Naruto. Yes I know Kishimoto doesn't know how to write women he has stated that so remember that. I don't hate her

So I genuinely disliked her in the original naruto. Bad characters are fine she was just ruining the pace if the anime. When the village was getting attacked and people are dying the first this she tells when she wakes up was is sasuke gonna be fine. Ino gave her a new opportunity to be accepted when people bullied her and she threw her under the bus for sasuke who she never talked to. During the chunin exams, she acts like sacrificing a bit of her hair is like the greatest thing. She teases naruto for being an orphan. She doesn’t have any gratitude when he laid his life down for her. However, when it came to first season of shippuden, I saw some insane character development. She definitely grew. She got stronger and helped beat sasori. She was pretty alright throughout shippuden except for the part where she has a flashback about how sasuke hated her all the time but she still is like I love him. Except for that one part I was pretty proud of her through out shipudden. I didn’t watch boruto yet but I heard she’s pretty strong in boruto.

She is supposed to be one of the main characters, yet she went through no character growth or development throughout entire series. She started as spoiled and entitled brat and she is one even in Boruto.
Hibiki Tachibana from Symphogear is THE worst protagonist in all anime. No hyperbole or exaggeration.

Personally I really started to not like her as early as the 2nd or 3rd episode when she was being rude about Naruto to Sasuke for being an orphan...even though Sasuke is also an orphan. Overall I feel like her character got off to a really bad start for most people and for most people, the damage was already done to the point of no return in the early episodes of Naruto. She did get development more in shippuden but overall I just could never say I liked her but I also never hated her

Sakura has been seen as useless mostly throughout Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Of course she has her times where she isn’t but some people hate her for that and how she acted throughout Naruto.

Sakura is trash -Treats Naruto like he's Trash and hating on him just because he has no parents, -During Sasuke rescue arc... Everyone did something while she was sitting somewhere in the hidden leaf crying -Breaks every ninja rule possible (For example: don't let your feelings get in the way of a mission) -During Pain arc even KONOHAMARU was useful while Sakura was crying AFTER being trained by one of the most skilled shinobi alive at that point -Is literally the reason for Kaguyas rebirth by just standing in front of Obito for what felt like 3 hours -Casually attacks Jubidara on her own even tho she knew she had no chance -Loved Sasuke randomly the entire show while knowing literally NOTHING about him (Oh yeah that's right she only loved him bc of his looks and talent) -Continues to slap Naruto after Naruto literally saves her MULTIPLE TIMES

Probably mostly bc of how she’s portrayed in OG naruto. Tbh I didn’t mind her as much in shippuden because she could actually fight for herself and came in clutch healing a few people. In OG though, literally all she did was yell and cry from the sidelines and genuinely had no capabilities whatsoever. She also wouldn’t shut up about Sasuke even tho he clearly didn’t give af about her and treated Naruto like trash. Overall I think that she kinda deserves the hate she gets bc of how bad her character is in OG but I don’t think she’s completely useless (at least in Shippuden) like most people say.

People may harp on her being "useless" for the fact that she's the only main female character of the show. Hinata's more of a side character.

It’s very understandable why she’s so hated. She had so much potential. At least in intelligence, chakra control, and overall ability/talent (besides volume of chakra) she was probably the best in her class. By this, I mean overall talent, but Shino and Shikamaru are smarter than her. She was just lazy in training herself compared to everyone else and wasted all her talent. She spent her whole life simping for this emo boy and somehow fell in love with him despite never having any meaningful conversation that didn’t involve Sasuke wanting to destroy Team 7. She never developed too much (Kishimoto admitted that he doesn’t know how to write female characters to be fair) and always had those terrible, unfunny skits where she abused Naruto. She also made us fans suffer through the Kaguya arc since she wouldn’t stab Obito’s eye out lol. I don’t dislike her or anything though, but I don’t like her either. There are just a lot of justified reasons to hate her imo

For 200 episodes she's useless but since she's young I understand her feelings and obsession over sasuke coz we all have done immature stuff during our teenage and have embarassing past . But my problems start with shippuden , she's more useful now and has a big responsibility , but her obsession with sasuke is still there and it's terrible , almost ruins the whole show , she wants to kill him and stop him but at the same time is madly in love with him and also gets killed by sasuke like 4 times and always gets saved by Naruto . But she lies to Naruto about her feelings which is terrible and her whole life is dedicated towards getting into sasuke's pants . she's not useless , she's a simp . I wouldn't call simping the ultimate sin , but she was willing to abandon her family and friends just so she could be with sasuke by the end of Naruto , even harmonal teenagers know that their family is more valuable than a random sexy person .

Ppl hate her for confessing to Naruto evn tho she didn't love him, they don't understand that she did it because Sai told her that she was the reason Naruto is doing so much to bring Sasuke back, she did it so that Naruto stops risking his life everyday and go after Sasuke and when she realised that Naruto won't stop, she herself tried to kill him but alas she couldn't, her feelings came in her way....Ppl Hate her because she loved Sasuke who apparently did not care about her and dumped Naruto who loved her..man, u ppl don't understand love thn...to whom to love is not in our control....ppl hate her because they think she's useless...well if she weren't there, Naruto would hv been critically injured or perhaps dead in numerous occasions....She healed Hundreds of Shinobis at the same time during the Shinobi war, which is something that only Tsunade can do... without her help Kaguya wouldn't hv been sealed....now if someone calls her useless after all these, I think he needs to know what useless means actually....summing up, Sakura in OG Naruto was actually a pretty bad character but in Shippuden, among the female characters, she was one of the best... Comparing her to Sasuke or Naruto won't do, cause everyone knows Kishimoto is not very good when it comes to handling Female characters.

So starting off with me, I admit that I hated Sakura when she was young. I just felt she was vain and arrogant in her interactions with Naruto and her regards for social status. However, I did have a different perspective on her from the beginning of Shippuden all the way up to the Five Kage Summit arc. I liked how much she grew in independence with having been trained in medical ninjutsu and physical strength. She also seemed a lot more mature in her view of Naruto. As the series progressed, she seemed to recognize Naruto's value to the village as well as appreciate the forward-thinking mindset of someone like him. I even speculated a possible NaruSaku pairing with the development I saw in their relationship. But, undoubtedly, Sakura's love confession to Naruto affected my feelings towards her. I don't hate it simply for the fact that she lied to Naruto about her decision to kill Sasuke by herself. But it just felt so unnecessary and awkward given the events that were going on during the Summit arc. Plus, it felt like an insult to Naruto as a character. While Naruto may not be that smart, it was just stupid to think that he would fall for something like that. He's been a teammate to Sakura for a long time and has known about the feelings she has for Sasuke. It was also just wrong for her to manipulate his feelings for her since he cared about her deeply. But that's just my take on it. You're free to refute what I said. But back to the question, what are your reasons for disliking Sakura?That love confession definitely surprised me and made me not like her for toying with his feelings. I get that she wants to protect Naruto but she knows that he had a crush on her since childhood so it was just wrong.

Disclaimer :Sakura in Boruto has gotten a lot better I don't hate her ***Contains Spoilers for Naruto,shippuden Here are some reasons to hate her 1.Useless 2.Simps for an emo that tried to kill her 3.Made fun of an Orphan for being an Orphan in front of another Orphan 4.Couldn't poke the enemy in the eye at an important time during the war() 5.Slaps only Naruto for comedic purposes 6.fainted while fighting gaara and the other two had to save her while fighting a tailed beast. She gotten better after the war has is quite strong in boruto.Strong enough to destroy a house because she was annoyed..

I swear there is a pole like this every other month. We all hate her because she is an annoying crying bitch that does nothing the whole damn show besides killing a puppet. She hurts naruto a bunch of times both physically, mentally and emotionally. Then she comes comes crying to naruto and begs for his help .Every. God. Damn. Time.

I generally dislike characters who are violent and rude towards MC, like Taiga from Toradora. But I feel like Kids hate her because she have chosen Sasuke instead of Naruto, while being fmc. When people are "toxic" about Sakura, I don't think they really mean it, it's just a meme at this point, and you shouldn't take it seriously. But as to why she is so disliked I really feel like she could have had more protagonism like Naruto and Sasuke did. But that's a problem with all female characters in Naruto, they don't get the attention and protagonism they should. With exceptions like Tsunade for example, she's super important to the series, unlike Sakura that sometines really just stands there when compared to other characters.
