Vet at FirstVet answers:
All animals can sneeze as a means of cleansing their airways. It is important to note that if a rabbit has suddenly started sneezing it can be a sign of an upper airway infection.
Rabbits can only breathe through their nose which means that an upper airway infection can seriously affect it.
Chronic airway diseases are relatively common in rabbits. The best thing to do if you find your rabbit is sneezing and/or has a runny nose is to seek veterinary care as soon as possible.
