‘Money’ had an unusual fight style. In fact, he was one of the best defensive boxers to ever step inside the ring. He had enough knockout power and counter his opponents. But out of 50 wins, Mayweather only has 27 wins via T/KO.

In his entire boxing run, Mayweather performed as an oppressor in a very handful of fights.

He was primarily known for dodging his opponents’ punches as it was his elite game. Moreover, he never got knocked out cold by any of his opponents.

‘Pretty Boy’ relied on his defensive skills and his extensive counterattack abilities. But he was never really a knockout fighter. Most of his fights went full 12-rounds, and the American was a fan of collecting points by hitting jabs to the face and body coupled with some right hand strikes.

With time, his fight style became difficult to decode for his opponents. And Mayweather never transitioned from that game plan. He attained vast success with the same and only added up to his defensive abilities. That said, his style of fighting was one of the prime reasons ‘Money’ doesn’t boast of an eye-catchy knockout record on his resume.
