Samsung Dishwasher Stinks or has a Musty, Mildew Smell
In order for mold or mildew to grow and start to stink or smell bad, it needs a location with moisture, warmth, and a source of nutrients (such as food particles). A prime example of such a location is an unclean dishwasher. So, regularly cleaning and maintaining your dishwasher is what you need to do to prevent mold growth and other sources of odors. The same maintenance can be used to clear away pre-existing odors, although you may have to be more thorough.
