Hi corina208,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you’re having an issue with your apps on your home screen not being visible. I’m happy to help.

To start, I suggest restarting your iPhone and making sure you’re running the latest iOS version:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

I also suggest making sure you have space available on your iPhone. Running low on space can affect your iPhone’s performance:

How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Should the above not help, you’ll want to reinstall iOS. This typically resolves any software related issues.

While reinstalling iOS shouldn’t remove any data from your iPhone, it’s a good idea to create a backup first:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

To reinstall iOS, follow the steps in the article below, under the section labeled “Put your device in recovery mode and set it up again”:

If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Take care.

  • Background App Refresh not working on any app. I have an iPhone 7 running iOS 15.7.1. Many apps are not updating their content while in background. Apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, Twitter, instagram etc, Background App Refresh is enabled under Settings for all apps. This is NOT related to notifications. I do not wish to factory reset the device or reinstall the apps because I have lots of info in both apps that would be lost. 25349 6
