I just turned it back on to see if it's remotely accurate on jumpshot 9 yet.... it's not at all, any ideas, full bar means slightly early, late AND good? Never had this problem last year, and this year the shot meter started saying whatever it wanted around the time Jumpshot 11 got nerfed. Even when it worked this year, it wasn't about filling the bar, but stopping right below it. Wish the shot meter from 17 was back. Tried switching to a slower jumpshot, and it didn't really improve results. Also tried tuning down graphics and refresh rate to fit 60 FPS vsync and that didn't help either. PS. Τελευταία επεξεργασία από TsoBadGuy; 20 Μαρ 2018, 4:50 #4 meh¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Προβολή προφίλ Προβολή αναρτήσεων 20 Μαρ 2018, 5:47 What changed this year compared to the previous one is the priority of the parameters affecting if the shot will miss or score.Nba2k17's parameters were more or less like this :User's timing > player's shot rating > contested/noncontested state > badges procs/badges ranks > hotzone > stamina > hot/cold state.This meant that players very familiar with their jumpshot and it's release timing could make shots outside their archetype's ratings more efficiently than players with high shot ratings but poor release timings. Also perfect timing almost always meant a perfect (green) shot.2K felt like skill shouldn't be about who knows how to press a button better, so they changed the calculation of the parameters that affect your shot success, bringing user timing (almost) all the way to the bottom for 2k18. The good, slightly early/late feedback that you see on a full bar shot is a result of the many tweaks on shooting that took place near the release of this year's game and they could all have been a green shot. The reason they are not green (even if you perfectly timed it) is because the parameters calculated before your own timing claim that the shot should miss.I understand why that may be frustrating because none of this information were released officially somewhere all together. I don't see something wrong there, with gold Freethrow Ace on a good release you get like 91% baseline. If you're hot on top of that it CAN increase to 100% even if it's not green.
