Why Men Prefer Situationships Over Relationships

I love reading blogs like these: I am going to give a long response so please forgive me if I bore you lol I will start in order Situantionship are more common than relationships in this generation. Idk if it’s me but have you noticed back when our parents were growing up, didn’t it feel like settling down was so much easier back then? I would go in depth but I would be typing forever maybe I will write a blog on this in January So anyway I completely agree with you, if a guy don’t want to settle down move on because if you keep persisting, you will hurt yourself more and more. Now this is just my opinion, this is for the single mothers, I highly would not recommend them to introduce a guy to their child or family members until it’s confirmed that the both of you are in a committed relationship. As guy, I know most men use women(especially single mother) for one thing(I could go in depth but I might just write a blog in the future about this). “Lets be honest women want sex more than men these days . ” I’m glad you keeping it real because this is the truth. Now I will explain the best way that I can why men prefer situationships over relationships and you may not agree and let me know if I say anything you don’t agree with. Men do rather just have a fling than be committed because this generation is lazy and it’s so much easier to talk to a girl, hang out with from time to time, have sex with her from time to time then to be committed to her. Men love the freedom and sometimes us men feel like being in a relationship is like being in prison. Men love the freedom of not being tied down to anybody. Men have trust issues and find it hard to trust women. A lot of men that were trash were once good men, but they go it hurt and take it out on every woman. Some guy may actually do want to settle down but want to wait until he get right with himself as far as money and other things so he won’t commit but will still keep the status as a situantionship because he don’t want to lose the girl he talking to, to another guy. Sometimes the guy may actually like the girl and want to be with her could just be too shy and rather keep things a secret because he don’t want his friends and family to know. Some men think being committed to a girl mean that you pussywhipped and a sucka so they rather just keep you a situationship status so he could still mess with you and other girls at the same time. Sometimes he just got something to hide and may be living a double life so he rather keep you at a distance by keeping you in the situationship zone. Sometimes and this apply for the baby fathers especially, he is stringing you on by keeping you in the situatonship zone because he still messing with his babymother and he just trying to see if he could work things out with his babymother first and he is keeping you as second string so if things don’t work out with his baby mother than he still have you as like the replacement. Situationships are tricky because a lot of men will lead you on and it will feel like a committed relationship but will not commit. Guys will treat you like a queen provide romance to make you think that he really cares and sometimes he does so he will give mixed signals because if he is truthful from the beginning than more than likely the girl he talking to will move on. He rather string you along but sometimes if a guy can still have feelings for you and still won’t be ready to commit because sometimes he confused and don’t know what he wants.
