The reason that Regina hates snow is because after Regina saved Snow the king proposed to her and Cora accepts, but secretly she was in love with a stable boy called Daniel. But Regina did not want to tell Cora because Cora wanted Regina to be queen. Regina and Daniel planned to run away together and said they  would meet at the stables at midnight. Regina told Snow because she caught them, and made snow promise not to tell anyone. But snow was little, and accidentally let it slip when she was talking to Cora. So that night at midnight Cora followed Regina to the Stables, and killed Daniel in front of Regina. And from that day forth Regina promised revenge on Snow and her Cora.
