Okt. 2015 um 1:34 So new players don't have to grind out the i90 gear, and so they can earn Poetics and ironworks gear faster and progress into heavensward not terribly undergeared.Quests after that drop i110 weapons too so you dont have to worry about trying to get an ironworks weapon either as the old i110 should be enough until you reach Ishgard where vendor weapons are cheap and better. Not if it's your first character. You won't be able to buy the i115 through vendors until you can get into Ishgard.

Yup. Dare[ffxiv.gamerescape.com] to compare.[ffxiv.gamerescape.com] The i115 gear is only good if you can get it in HQ, and I speak from experience when I say that doesn't come cheap. And considering i90 is enough to get into HW, it's best to equip the i90 gear you get at 50, then swap out the pieces with Ironworks as you gain Poetics, and the i110 gear you get from just following the main story.
