It's really hard. Bosses have unlimited hp, when on regular levels there's too much enemies. Even on simple difficulty game is hella hard. Why?Also, i have a bug on my gamepad - sometimes, my character turn left even without turning stick in left. And it also happens when flicking stick in right - my character going right, but after walking, he turns left, and it also makes game hard. It is realy hard for those who are less than 18 years old and have not play the old difficulty games., For people like me, that iakm 29 years old and started playing games since 1994 is not so hard because we got used to hard games

I've been playing since the master system and I completly disagree. Old games were hard an unforgiving, but most of them gave you the time to think and allowed you to learn patterns to beat it. I've played the game about 20 minutes and while bosses are easy enough to beat once you got the trick (got about 5 of them), the run and gun stage is just an unholy mess with ♥♥♥♥ coming from everywhere at the same time, making each second a living hazard. You have to maintain yourself in a state of constant focus for the wrong reasons and i find it quite unpleasant.I hope the game improves later on cause right now it's a big "meh" with decent enough bosses and a despicable normal stage totaly inadequate considering the level of achievement of the game's art. #9 ☠ Jordan ☠ View Profile View Posts 30 Sep, 2017 @ 12:16pm Been playing the GoG version I don't understand these hard complaints. This is extremely subjective, and also an opinion. I'm 19, and never played extremely hard games, or old platformers, but I love this game. It takes patience and skill, something that everyone can have. You don't have to have played "old" games XD I'm not saying having played a lot of tough, classic arcade games as a child wont help, I just think the whole argument that younger crowds will find it tougher is bologna because just playing a game will make you better at it. Also there are a lot of devs as of recent that are trying to make satisfyingly hard games, it's like...sort of a trend? Game is inspired by contra/metal slug. Both of those are harder than cuphead because cuphead is primarily just boss fights with a retry button. If the game was platformer and then boss fight, I don't know how many of you would have even had the power to post here. So yeah, older games were definitely harder, but when they take inspiration from those games to try and make this game harder, then well, you have a unique title that appeals to that specific generation and likers of the genre.
