All Wisp Locations and Maps

There are 107 Wisps in total all over the Hisui region, divided across the different areas of the map. Collect all of the Wisps to encounter and catch Spiritomb.

Upon finding all 107 Wisps, the player will receive the 108th and final Wisp from Vessa, who gave the Request.

It may be tempting to collect Wisps while playing through the story, but Game8 highly recommends waiting until after unlocking Hisuian Braviary before picking any up.

If you collect some of the Wisps early, it will be difficult to tell which ones you have already found and which ones are still remaining, so it's best to wait and collect them all at once. If you do happen to pick up any Wisps, be sure to mark the position on your in-game Map so that you know that you have already obtained that Wisp.

Things to Know Before Starting

Do Not Collect Wisps Early!

A warning before you start collecting Wisps during your journey. Collecting Wisps absentmindedly will give you a difficult time later on when you're attempting to gather all the Wisps in order. This will force you to re-check every Wisp location while figuring out which Wisps you are missing.

The most efficient way to collect Wisps is to wait until unlocking Hisuian Braviary in Alabaster Icelands, and flying around each zone while consulting the maps below. If you've already collected some Wisps, it will be difficult to tell which ones you still need to gather, so resist the urge to mash the grab button and wait until the right opportunity to collect all the Wisps at once.

Always Collect Wisps at Night

Not only are Wisps easier to see during the day, but the game will actually load in Wisps from a greater distance at nighttime. That means that even if you look directly at the location where a Wisp should appear during the daytime, it might not be rendered in at all, forcing you to search needlessly and potentially miss it completely. Be sure to return to camp each time the night ends and sleep until nighttime when searching for Wisps.

Time of Day Effects and How to Change

Keep Track of Your Progress

While collecting Wisps, it's easy to lose track of which ones you have already gathered, and second-guess whether you already found one or not. This can hamper your progress, so use the Map Markers to keep track of which Wisps you have already collected.

Vessa Tells You How Many Wisps You've Collected

You can check your progress by talking to Vessa in Jubilife Village. There are 7 wisps in Jubilife Village and 20 wisps in each area outside the village. If you don't know how many wisps you have collected, just head over to Jubilife Village and talk to Vessa.

Rewards for Collecting Wisps

Encounter Spiritomb

Upon collecting all 107 Wisps and receiving the 108th Wisp in a cutscene, the Odd Keystone key item will release Spiritomb, and the player will have a chance to catch it.

This Request is the only sure encounter for Spiritomb, but the Pokemon can still be found very rarely at Shrouded Ruins in Crimson Mirelands after completing the Request.

It is recommended to catch the Spiritomb that shows up after getting the 108th Wisp to take advantage of its sure encounter. If you want an Alpha Spiritomb, you would find yourself visiting Shrouded Ruins at night frequently.

How to Unlock Eerie Apparitions in the Night

Talk to Commander Kamado after Defeating the Noble Kleavor

Once you have defeated the Noble Kleavor, return to Jubilife Village and speak to Commander Kamado. After a few cutscenes play out, Vessa will beckon the player at night as they head back to their home.

Vessa will give the player an Odd Keystone and ask you to collect the first Wisp from across the river. After you retrieve the Wisp, Vessa will approach you and give you the request Eerie Apparitions in the Night.
