Yes, knocking back shots on a night out is practically the poster boy for reckless abandon. Though if you’d rather not feel that familiar sensation in your throat – or taste the incredibly strong and harsh alcoholic flavour that some shots tend to lead to – then one woman on TikTok has certainly got your back.

TikTok user lee.estelle_ shared the hack with her followers on the video sharing platform, writing, “tik tok always teaching me sumn [sic]”.
