Work from Home (WFH) What's the difference between Work from Home (WFH) and Remote/Distributed Work?

It is often assumed that Work from Home (or short WFH) is the same thing as being a remote worker. That's only partly true.Work from Home usually describes a benefit, or perk, offered by co-located companies. It provides one or multiple days per week that employees are allowed to work from home. These days are often seen as flex days: Days you can use to schedule appointments for, or to simply have a rest day from the busy office and getting some focused work done.Remote work is not the same as working from home, and can happen from a variety of locations, such as cafés or coworking spaces. While more flexible, it's also not often seen as flex days, since the default of working is location independent.
