Workin’ Moms season three airs every Thursday on CBC and the entire first season went live on Netflix  UK this morning (Friday, February 22). Netflix has not yet confirmed when the next two seasons of Workin’ Moms will arrive on the global streaming site. Where is Workin Mom’s set?

Working Mom’s follows the lives of four working mothers who are trying to juggle family, love, careers and parenthood.

Workin’ Moms on CBC and Netflix is set in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The series is set in the present day with the mothers having young children and newborns between them.

Other shows filmed in Canada this year include Schitts Creek, Anne With an E and Frontier.

Where is Workin’ Moms filmed?

Workin’ Moms is filmed on location in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

As the series follows the everyday lives of mothers, many notable locations from in and around the streets of Toronto pop up.

The series is produced by Wolf + Rabbit Entertainment, the production company of Catherine Reitman who plays Kate Foster in the series and her husband Philip Sternberg.

Filming also takes place on a set at CBC Production facilities in Toronto.

What is Workin’ Moms about?

The official synopsis reads: “Workin’ Moms follows the lives of four women as they juggle love, careers, and parenthood.

“Whether it is an identity crisis, a huge job opportunity, postpartum depression, or an unplanned pregnancy – they face both the good and bad with grace and humour.”

The series first aired in 2017 and was quickly renewed for a second season in April 2017.

The second season aired at the end of 2017 into 2018.

Season three of Workin’ Moms premiered on CBC on January 10, 2019, and season one dropped on Netflix worldwide this morning.

American actress, producer, writer and film critic Catherine Reitman plays PR executive Kate Foster.

Wynona Earp actress Dani Kind plays psychiatrist Anne Carlson, who is known for her brutal honesty.

The Killing and Degrassi: The Next Generation star Juno Rinaldi plays Frankie Coyne, who is described as a “big-hearted, eccentric woman with no filter”.

The Strain Dennis Andres plays Ian Matthews who co-parents with Jenny (played by Jessalyn Wanlim).

Canadian actress Sarah McVie stars as Val Szalinsky, the administrator of Toddler Time which Jenny and Ian’s daughter attends.
