Blizzard has announced the release date for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands' next major patch. Numbered at 9.1, the patch is titled Chains of Domination, and will be released on June 29. Chains of Domination will bring quite a bit of new content to World of Warcraft: Shadowlands

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Patch 9.1 Features

Here are the features and additions coming to World of Warcraft: Shadowlands as part of the Chains of Domination update.

• New Zone: Kothria—The new zone of Kothria will have new quests for players. In terms of the story, the new zone has appeared because the primary antagonist of Shadowlands, the Jailer, pulled the zone into his domain, the Maw.
• New Raid: Sanctum of Domination—The new end-game raid for Shadowlands will be Sanctum of Domination, featuring 10 raid bosses leading up to a fight against Sylvanas Windrunner.
• New Mega-Dungeon: Tazavesh, The Veiled Market—Tazavesh is set to essentially be a high-stakes heist involving powerful artifacts from Azeroth. The mega-dungeon is designed around being an exotic bazaar.
• Shadowlands Flying—Players will be able to fly around Shadowlands' covenant zones (Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald, and Revendreth) in the new update. Unlocking flying requires fulfilling certain requirements, which largely revolve around gaining reputation with factions and exploring the map.
• Mythic+ Dungeons Season 2—The other major end-game activity of Shadowlands, Mythic+ Dungeons, will kick off its second season in Shadowlands, bringing with it a new scoring system and a new Keystone Affix: Tormented.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands 9.1 Raid Release Dates

While the 9.1 patch is set to go live on June 29, the new Sanctum of Domination raid won’t be available right off the bat. Check out the timings and dates for the raid’s release date below.

• July 6 – Normal and Heroic Difficulties
• July 13 – Raid Finder Wing 1 and Mythic Difficulties (The Tarragrue, The Eye of the Jailer, The Nine)
• July 27 – Raid Finder Wing 2 (Soulrender Dormazain, Remnant of Ner’zhul, and Painsmith Raznal)
• August 10 – Raid Finder Wing 3 (Guardian of the First Ones, Fatescribe Roh-Kalo, and Kel’Thuzad)
• August 24 – Raid Finder Wing 4 (Sylvanas Windrunner)
