Bungie - you must play Gambit! Go into Gambit and 1st match is apparently up against a pre-made team given how quickly they fill and get the primeval summoned. Otherwise no one's playing Gambit Prime and very few are playing basic Gambit. And I thought PVP's CBMM was bad lawl. I always find some people in Prime(♥♥♥ normal gambit tho) and yes you can meet pre made teams but the same thing happens in the crucible. And unlike normal,prime HAS roles and it encourage team play which premade teams make use off, Shocking right? LAWLLook, at this moment in time there's plenty of videos and written guides on how to play PVP in D2. Only issue is those on the steam forum for this game are utterly useless at giving any real advise other than "get good", so you'll need to use google to find some stuff. As for gear available for F2P players - news flash, anything that isn't locked behind seasonal mechanics is available for you, and that's quite a bit of good stuff. Though I'd argue the current season is well worth buying since it offers a f**kton of good gear and allows you to roll some very good armour. So just scrape up the money for it and get it already. But I understand perfectly if you can't, due to needing money for core stuff, especially with this failure of governance making the pandemic worse. I understand Crucible can be quite cancerous but there is specific gear you can get to give you an edge in Gambit Prime and it's perfectly attainable from playing Reckoning. For example. I can summon a Giant blocker in gambit prime. Other people cannot. Why?? Because I took the time to get the armour and bonuses that would allow me to. In other word's specific, detailed info that aims to help. You need to farm for Revoker and use it with one of 150RPM revolvers or kinetic granade launcher Mountain Top.Those 2 are more or less easy mode that will net You kills no matter if You are good or bad.Bad news though is that You actually need to be somewhat skilled to get those two noskill weapons.Another thing in pvp You can use is maleficence or any 140-150RPM revolver. They are easier to use kill with 3-4 shots and have high bullet magnetism (game helps You to kill enemies).You could aswell try to find Yourself auto rifle that feels good to use for Yourself and try to learn with that.Otherwise wich is least desired but still possible is to learn how to use Sweet Bussiness in Crucible and nuke 90% of the enemy team solo with it. (Truly onyly weak vs shotgun apes with good PCs)Every of the ways takes time and forces You to learn so there is no way around it.You have to know maps, spawn points and Your weapon to enjoy Crucible. I’m probably giving other people too much credit I guess. roflolActually for the gambit matches I did play through I was often the one who put the most motes in and as long as the primeval was on the ground I'd run in with my gulliotine and whack a decent chunk of it's health off before running away to regen. And I'd usually hit the blockers often, since that sword deletes them easily. Plus once I didn't have to use a hand cannon I was also clearing adds like a madman, even when I swapped out to a LMG later on. All because I have way to many hours banked in PVE already and have my armour all masterworked bar the arms (stupid exotics take 3 ascendant shards, grumble grumble) and all my weapons masterworked. Not everyone has good google fu :P Heck, mine only got refined because I needed it for hunting down research papers at uni. Also, because of "search optimisation" services google results are not always as useful as one would think for anything where a profit stands to be made.
