Console modification is a pretty hot topic on the internet right now. Should you bother modding your console or should you just leave it as it is? Personally I don’t see a great deal of benefit, I am an occasional gamer that doesn’t mind paying for his games as a reward to the developers for their hard work. Without them and the money they make, there would be no games after all. Sites like http://www.howtosoftmodxbox360.com can be found everywhere on the net. They teach you how to softmod your console or point to where you can download software that will do it for you. They go into great details about the advantages you will get out of this. And although some of the advantages do tempt me, I simply don’t use my console that way. I think that if you are hardcore gamer that spends a lot of money in the industry anyway, this will be right up your alley, if not, and you’re more like me, a casual gamer, then I suggest giving it a miss.
