XXXTentacion Reveals Jocelyn Flores Committed Suicide In His Hotel Room

XXXTentacion seemingly made light of suicide after posting footage of himself hanging from a tree. X simulated the act of suicide by appearing to jump from a ladder near a tree.

X soon took to his IG account to dispel rumors he was dead. He posted onto IG a clip from an upcoming music video that shows him rapping while hanging from a tree.

X captioned his post, “If you thought I would pretend to kill myself for a publicity stunt you’re f—— stupid.”

When explaining the clip on his IG Live, X revealed friend Jocelyn Flores killed herself in his hotel room:

“Everyone needs to calm down. That was a prop from my music video. It was a piece of my music video. Everybody needs to chill the f—- out. I was just trying to preview it. I didn’t know people would not catch on. There’s a lot of people that caught on. I was in the middle of shooting, so I couldn’t explain myself. I couldn’t end the rumor. Everybody needs to chill the f**k out. I’m not playing with suicide, especially since I had a girl kill herself in my f——- hotel room, not even two to three months ago. It’s not cool to make assumptions. Nobody in my camp claimed I was dead. …How the f**k would the video post itself? Y’all n****s is tripping. Relax. I had to hurry up and post, so n****s didn’t think I was dead cause I don’t want any of my f*****g fans killing themselves. Y’all n****s is tripping. …I’m not dead. Relax, it’s for a music video. I was trying to surprise you guys and show my fans I’m out here really working. And then there was a subliminal noose in my profile picture. There’s a big f——- on the left side of my profile picture. Y’all n—— is f——- crazy. For my fans, not the n—— that be hating, how did y’all not piece together the fact that I’m really out here tryna preach a positive message, and I’m telling y’all n—— not give up. Why would I go kill myself and abandon all of you. I literally have like two million kids that look up to me.”

X revealed news of Jocelyn’s suicide in late May.

“A few days ago, I went though something I went through before, but not exactly in this term. I’ve had friends that killed themselves. I’ve seen people go through that. I’ve seen it all around me,” X said. “There was this girl I had basically flew down here to model. Great girl, beautiful girl. Wonderful personality. Showed no signs of depression whatsoever. When she flew down here, in an unexplained way, she killed herself when she came down here. It was a devastating situation to deal with.

“I basically got on here to address her and her family because I haven’t been able to contact her family personally,” he continued. “It f—- me up so bad to where obviously I wasn’t on social media for the last few days unless I was addressing something I needed to. Her name is Jocelyn. It’s hard to come from where she came from to be battling with suicide for so long, and be battling with depression for so long, and to kinda feel a step away from it, and see it happen right next to you. To feel so useless and powerless. It’s overall a really sad situation.”

X encouraged people who are suffering from depression to seek help.

X recorded alternative rock record “Garette’s Revenge” in her honor.

In this record, X croons, “I’ve dug two graves for us my dear, cant pretend that I was perfect, leaving you in fear, oh man, what a world the things I hear/ If i could act on my revenge, than oh would I/ Some kill, some steal, some break your heart, and you had thought that I would let it go and let you walk/ Well broken hearts break bones, so break up fast, and I don’t wanna let it go, so in my grave I’ll rot.”

In X’s bio on his SoundCloud, X shares the full lyrics and writes, “I love you garette. rest in peace, jocelyn, I will have my revenge upon the world.”

X also has a song titled “Jocelyn Flores” on his “17” album.
