Yellowstone: Paramount tease season four finale in trailer

WARNING: The following article contains spoilers from Yellowstone season four finale.

Jimmy (played Jefferson White) had been sent to the Four Sixes (6666) ranch in Texas earlier in the series and fell in love with veterinarian Emily (Kathryn Kelly). In the season four finale, Emily gave Jimmy an ultimatum, telling him he needed to decide if he wanted to pursue a relationship with her. It wasn’t too hard a choice as Jimmy returned to the Yellowstone ranch where he declared Emily was now his fiancee. Will he move to Four Sixes to be with her?

Is Jimmy leaving Yellowstone for good?

Jimmy returned to the Dutton family ranch to share his good news as Emily fought with Mia (Eden Brolin).

He explained to John Dutton (Kevin Costner) he knew he had a debt to pay and would remain on the ranch until it was clear.

He added he would works things out to ensure he could both pay off his debt and be with future wife, Emily.

However, in a surprise turn of events, John told Jimmy he was free to leave the Yellowstone ranch.

John told Jimmy he had a decision to make - stay at Yellowstone or return to the Four Sixes ranch.

It wasn’t a hard choice for Jimmy, who chose to return to Texas with Emily.

He explained there was less fighting and he didn’t have to worry about losing the people he loved there.

He packed up his belongings and said goodbye to his friends at the bunkhouse before driving off with Emily.

As they left, they passed former flame Mia on the roadside with his fiancee warning: “If you’re having second thoughts, you’re not gonna have a better chance to share ‘em.”

But Jimmy was certain, he would be going to Four Sixes and starting a new life there.

Jimmy’s exit confirmed a huge fan theory he would lead Yellowstone spin-off series 6666.

Showrunner Taylor Sheridan announced he had plans for several spin-off series with 1883 already a hit with fans.

6666 is up next and will take places at the iconic Texas ranch where Jimmy has spent much of his time.

Now, he is starting a new life with Emily, it’s likely the spin-off will follow the cowboy but there have also been hints Walker (Ryan Bingham) could join him too.

When is 6666 out?

Now Jimmy has left Yellowstone ranch, fans could potentially see the new spin-off in late 2022, especially if filming has already begun.

There is no trailer and so far, no cast announcements for 6666 but a synopsis has been released.

It reads: “Still operating as it did two centuries before, and encompassing an entire county, the 6666 is where the rule of law and the laws of nature merge in a place where the most dangerous thing one does is the next thing.

"The 6666 is synonymous with the merciless endeavour to raise the finest horses and livestock in the world, and ultimately where world-class cowboys are born and made."
