Young Joc’s singing devotion began when his father supported him in grabbing an opportunity to write a jingle for the famous brand Revlon. His father himself owned a business of haircare products. Later, when his interest grew further in music and became an enthusiast in his field, Joc launched his own music production company namely, Mastermind where he published his own music initially.

Joc became famous in 2006 for his hit single ‘It’s Goin’ Down.’ The song was featured at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Joc has been nominated for a Grammy Award and is also described as a comedian and radio personality.

Joc’s third album, “Mr. Robinson’s Neighborhood,” was released in 2017 following the gradual release of singles from 2010 to 2014. In 2010, Joc established his record label, Swagg Team Entertainment, after lawsuits with other labels at the time.

In 2014, Joc appeared on season three of the V.H.1 show “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.” He was mostly a supporting cast member and was introduced as Karlie Redd’s boyfriend.
