An overcurrent circuit breaker is a component of an electrical installation whose function is to break the continuity of a circuit when the current exceeds the safe value for that circuit. The circuit breaker is designed to control and protect against the effects of overloads and short circuits of consumer circuits of the installation, as well as household electrical appliances. It is designed for repeated use.
We have noticed that Merlin Gerin has been using some poor quality plastic in DIN-rail locking clip. So depending on the unit the locking clip might either be missing or broken. In case we will find unit equipped with unbroken clip it might be very probable that the clip might soon break. If you want to fix the clip into it's place with hot glue or anchor the fuse down with busbar it is a working thing then.
