  Poor fitments, but true 3.0 speeds

  too tight to insert and extract card. USB ports are very loose. But when in, I can clearly see the 3.0 performance. less than $10, I get 2 more USB holes, and 3.0 (I only have 2.0 on a high end PC for its year)

  - If your ExpressCard slot is unused, this card gives you two more USB ports that are probably faster than the built-in ones on your laptop. - It fits almost flush, but you'll also want to know that it's a jam fit - best used only if you intend to leave it in place (which is basically why we use flush cards). - Don't expect to use both sockets to power a peripheral - the extra power has to come from a different port. But if your laptop has room, you might consider getting a wider (54mm) flush-fit card, one that comes with a built-in power jack and cable. - Finally, keep in mind that the narrow USB sockets on flush fit cards are not as durable as the standard sockets on cards that protrude from the laptop. So if you don't mind yanking out a card between uses, you might want to consider a card that protrudes.

  Unreliable usb connections.

  Installed and drivers also, it was flaky if any usb device would connect or not in Windows using this card. Unreliable usb connections. Maybe I got a bad one, the laptop is gone now so no more problems.

  It doesn't work

  Could not get it to work with any USB device. USB 2.0 and 3.0 devices were tried. I have 35 years experience with DOS and every version of Windows and understand device driver issues. I believe the unit I received was DOA and I gave up after a couple of hours.

  tight fit

  The expresscard is a very tight fit into the slot, after you have forced it in, it needs pliers in order to remove it. Even like that though the contacts seem to be sub-optimal, and the OS sometimes sees random disconnects on the PCI bus, which does not help stability...
