Caddy2010! C Hi! New here (and unfamiliar with problem solving VW..) Caddy 2010, 1.9 tdi, six speed. Some time ago the clutch pedal started sticking to the floor. Pull it back up again - no problem, all is good again. Couple of days ago noise when taking off, forward or reverse, sounds like something needs grease. Noise only for 2 seconds and only when taking off, not while driving. Sounds pretty much like this: Today while driving home from work shifting gears got harder and harder. Finally I got to our street, and it all locked up. Wasn't possible to shift gears at all. Tonight I tried shifting gears again standing still, and it was possible, perhaps a little harder than usual, but possible. Turned on the engine, pressure builds up, and slowly but surely the gears "freeze up" again. No obvious low levels in the fluid reservoir.. Appreciate any help and suggestions, Thanks! The video link is just a black box I have too at you post and copy it to my browser. #3 · Apr 29, 2018 "Some time ago the clutch pedal started sticking to the floor" Therefore there is a fault in the hydraulic system. Try bleeding it. Otherwise my guess is clutch master cylinder. Your video made me feel depressed BTW. #4 · Apr 29, 2018 Concentric release bearing failure. #5 · May 1, 2018 I shall obviously concur with Crasher's expertise. I'm surprised it sounds that loud and creaky. Big job then. Insert Quotes Post Reply
