K10 TV Box Review

The K10 Amlogic S905X3 TV box is another mid-range TV box that has some great features to complement its hardware. With its CPU clocked at 1.9 GHz and the option of up to 128 GB of internal storage, the K10 also provides features such as the root switch, hardware monitor settings, 4K video playback, Dolby and DTS audio options, and wireless updates. While all may seem well with this box, I however encounter some issues with it which I highlighted close to the end of this article.

🔵Conclusion

The K10 in my opinion at a price point of $61 should have been better optimized. It performed well in key areas such as streaming movies and TV shows and 4K video playback. When it comes to giving and casting due to the the box running out of available RAM it starts to throttle and freeze in some cases. Why this is happening when we have seen boxes with similar 4 GB of RAM without this issue. There is something in the background using up a lot of RAM could be bloatware can be poor optimization, but at the end of the it affects the performance of the box especially during 3D gaming.
