To amp up cool air intake for the Strix G15/17, its hinges are shifted forward in front of a heavily ventilated 3D Flow Zone. A trapezoidal cut carves out the bottom of the screen to ensure that the venting below is unobstructed, while giving the laptop its signature asymmetrical style. CoolZone keyboard Extended gaming sessions can heat up internal components and make the keyboard above warm to the touch. To keep your fingers cool, small vents around the WASD keys let the fans draw cool air into the chassis from above. This design improves comfort for longer gaming marathons by keeping surface temperatures under 30° Celsius, a reduction of up to 14% compared to competing laptops. Self-cleaning cooling 2.0 Keeping the heatsinks free of debris is critical to maintaining optimal thermal dissipation, so our engineers designed a special anti-dust tunnel that catches and channels particles outside the chassis to prevent build-up.
