Suzuki’s middleweight touring cruiser, the Boulevard C50T, returns for the 2022 model year unchanged apart from a $460 price increase for a grand total $10,059 MSRP. The bike will be available once again in a Pearl Brilliant White colorway.
The C50T cruiser packs a tried-and-true 805cc V-twin fuel-injected engine. It’s equipped with a wide-ratio five-speed transmission and shaft final drive, a traditional fork and preload adjustable link-type shock, and a front disc, rear drum brake setup. It rolls on 15-inch rear and 16-inch front whitewall tires. Fuel capacity is 4.1 gallons and seat height measures 27.6 inches.
It comes touring-ready with a height-adjustable windshield and “leather-texture” saddlebags as standard equipment.
The C50T might not be the most exciting new motorcycle on the market, but its classic styling and simple mechanics give the streetbike broad appeal. It and the base-model C50 (which is also renewed for 2022) have been part of Suzuki’s line since the early 2000s, and since that time new riders and experienced riders alike have found something to appreciate about this platform. That longevity also means there are loads of aftermarket upgrades available, from exhaust and performance enhancements to aesthetic and creature comfort improvements.
