One of them is to photographs the completed sets. These images are sometimes used for VFX or HDRs for Art Department renderings. Most importantly, we use them internally to quickly reference sets. Writers and producers can put on a VR headset and view them or they can pan around on their desktop. They were made in really high resolution (sorry I can't share those yet) and on a couple of occasions, when the set was taken down but we missed a couple shots, they were used as a backdrop for a couple of shots.
