I'm currently looking to buy new ram and upgrade from 16gb to 32gb and I decided between two but I don't know if the price difference is worth it. I'm look at G.SKILL Trident Z RGB and I see that 3600 mhz c18 is $145 while the same ram but with a latency of 16 is $185. I'm curious if there would be any noticeable difference between the two? I mostly use my pc for gaming, schoolwork and streaming, sometimes do a bit of video editing if that makes any difference. Thank you guys!

I wouldn't buy RAM until Black Friday, or get the kit @xg32 has linked if you really can't wait a few weeks.
As for the difference between the two, no. You won't notice it unless you stare at synthetic benchmarks of your system on the regular.

Alright thank you so much. Also since that is a Newegg business link is that any different from purchasing from normal Newegg? And I can wait a couple weeks I have my 16gb kit that will work fine for now just wanted a bit more.

I'm not sure, I'll never buy from Newegg again. You can also score some killer deals on eBay if you have the patience. RAM has a lifetime warranty do there's really no risk.

yeah that's insane, said warranty most definitely doesn't travel with products from owner to owner. warranty is for original purchaser only.

Not true. You just send it in, and they'll give you a new set. No questions asked. Same thing with HDDs, Intel CPUs, etc.
