If you need to sign out of your Outlook email account, the steps to log out are slightly different depending on whether you're using the Outlook mobile app, Outlook.com, or the Outlook desktop app on your PC or Mac. Fortunately, it's always easy. This wikiHow article will show you how to log out of Microsoft Outlook on any computer, phone, or tablet.

Log Out of Outlook Fast

  • In the Outlook mobile app, tap the profile icon, tap the gear, select your account, and tap "Remove Account" > "Remove."
  • On Outlook for Windows, the steps to log out differ depending on whether you have the original Outlook desktop app or "New Outlook."
  • On Outlook.com, click your profile photo or initials, then click "Sign out."
  • In Outlook for Mac, go to "Tools" > "Accounts", select your account, click "Manage", and select "Remove Account."
