Perry H. profile picturePerry H.08:09 17 Dec 25As sonebody who is scared if heights I thoroughly enjoyed the Amsterdam Lookout and swing. To access it does require climbing a few flights of very steep stairs so is not suitable for people with limited mobility. The staff members were lovely and the bar area was reasonably priced for the location (~€8.80 for a large glass of Rosé (photo attached for reference)).Sourav G. profile pictureSourav G.07:29 08 Dec 25Every city has one of these high towers to have a nice view of the skyline. This is no exception. Pick the right time of the day and the right weather and you will love it. If you are a thrill speaker, go for the swing. If you have a go city pass, the viewing deck is free, u pay extra for the swing.Carlsberg profile pictureCarlsberg15:38 26 Nov 25Great views, but today was hazy because of the sun.Perhaps later in the day may have been better.I liked the music that was playing as we had a drink.Shame we did not know about the audio guide you can download until we were leaving. The staff should advise you really. But its recommendedLouise G profile pictureLouise G18:00 24 Nov 25Worth a visit. The views are absolutely beautiful. Hot chocolate was delicious too. Plus, despite not liking heights, I'd really recommend the swing.Yash M. profile pictureYash M.20:33 22 Nov 25Would recommend to do prior online booking to avoid the line at the entrance. We got a combo, which included swing along with the VR experience. I really enjoyed my time on the open roof top. Minus the cold windy weather ;PThey also provide you a QR code where you can get all your photos for FREE.Go wild and shoot some cool memories.Interesting was, how they made an 15 sec elevator ride a small disco experience.Jason O. profile pictureJason O.13:11 11 Nov 25I don’t like heights, but loved this place. The restaurant was lovely, my family went on the swing (not me!). The whole experience and views were amazing. A must for anyone visiting Amsterdam.Chirléy L. profile pictureChirléy L.09:57 06 Nov 25Fun Experience! The views from A’DAM Tower were absolutely beautiful, offering a perfect panoramic look over Amsterdam. It wasn’t crowded when we visited, which made the experience even better. We also tried the swing — such a fun and thrilling experience! Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Amsterdam.Cheyenne O. profile pictureCheyenne O.19:21 04 Nov 25Cool spot to see Amsterdam from above with a swing ride over the edge. The bar up top has a good selection of drinks. Only down side is finding seating if you want to sit down to enjoy your drinkFonsy A. profile pictureFonsy A.18:36 22 Oct 25A’DAM Lookout — A Must Visit! If you love a mix of thrill and stunning views of Amsterdam, this place is for you! The swing experience is definitely one you shouldn’t miss . It is both nerve-wracking and unforgettable. The souvenir shop downstairs also has a great selection of items, and the cashier was so friendly and cheerful. Highly recommended!Shannon B. profile pictureShannon B.10:27 21 Oct 25Our experience was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The VR some of the sets were glitchy but still great. The swing was an experience I won’t forget. Went on a rainy day and still was brilliant other than the VR sets faulty I give 5 stars 🌟.Julia G. profile pictureJulia G.16:08 12 Oct 25Our visit was a good experience. As for the place and the service, we have no complaints — the staff is attentive and the environment is very well organized. Unfortunately, we went on a rainy and foggy day, so we couldn’t enjoy it as much. The swing is fun and VERY HIGH, but definitely worth it.The only detail that could be improved was the menu, with few options and medium-high prices, but after all, it’s not really meant to be a gastronomic service!Atif G profile pictureAtif G00:31 09 Oct 25A’DAM Lookout offers an amazing view of Amsterdam — definitely worth a visit! The view is especially beautiful in the evening when the city lights come on.Just keep in mind that there’s an entrance fee of around €18–€19 per person, and if you want to go on the famous swing at the top, that’s an extra €7.50.Gary S. profile pictureGary S.22:53 27 Sep 25Nice little jaunt from Amsterdam, walk to centraal station, walk under the tunnel, it takes you to the Ferry. But be careful as of the 3, 1 goes down the water and not just across the way like the other 2. Free Ferry across the way, turn right and then you're there. Great fast lift up, top floor is open and had a bar, but was too windy that day, so one floor down, there's a windowed floor that has a bar, where we sat and enjoyed a drink. Very enjoyable place that's a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Damraak.Angel I. profile pictureAngel I.21:36 26 Sep 25Super friendly and accommodating staff is the number one reason for 5 stars. The view is fantastic, the bar is great and the whole experience was a positive surprise. However, above all, the staff were beyond amazing and would love to visit again!Natalie profile pictureNatalie07:37 23 Sep 25We pre booked for 11am on a Saturday morning, there was no wait, we went straight to the swing, then to the lookout platform. The views are amazing, the staff were friendly and the food and drink are excellent! Would definitely recommend if youre visiting Amsterdam!Would probably suggest that sort of time, as it did get busy the later it got.sam M. profile picturesam M.15:49 21 Sep 25Friendly, helpful staff, fantastic views across Amsterdam. No brave (or crazy) enough to try the swing at the edge of the roof. The free ferry gets you from Amsterdam Central Station across to the lookout. The only disappointment was the gift shop, I didn't see anything worth buying.Emily W. profile pictureEmily W.13:28 18 Sep 25I love getting a view from you high when visiting a new city. This place provides a fantastic 360 view. The inside has tables to eat and drink at and then there is a view just above that from the outside. There's a little drink and snack stand outside with some seating. There's also swings that go out over the edge of the building. I skipped those, but if you're looking for a thrill go for it. There's also music constantly playing. I'd recommend this to anyone visiting Amsterdam.chan M. profile picturechan M.21:52 08 Sep 25It’s a cool place to spend 30min to an hour (if you drink) there, you can enjoy the 360 degrees observation of the Amsterdam city. The look back to Amsterdam station is fabulous, and there’re also swings with another 7.5 euros if you are brave 😇 but overall I think it’s quite worth it, just try to go on a sunny dayIsaac D. profile pictureIsaac D.21:35 03 Sep 25Great views of Amsterdam below! Was lucky to go there during SAIL so it was amazing to see all the boats go past. Roughly 20m to enter and leave as there is only 1 lift down! The swing lasts 2-5 minutes but you can’t bring phones on it and record while swinging. The snacks and the drinks on the top are quite expensive but the food the floor below is amazing. I recommend you visit when there aren’t any events on, so you won’t have to wait as long as I did!B B profile pictureB B21:24 25 Aug 25You can buy tickets online and save 2 euros. It’s better to take the swing add on as it makes the whole experience worth it. As others have said, it is not cheap but really, is there anything cheap in Amsterdam?😁Overall, it’s worth visitingSaska Z. profile pictureSaska Z.12:40 19 Aug 25This is a nice stop on your journey through Amsterdam. Ferry from the Central station drives non stop and takes 2 min to get you across. It is free of charge as well.We booked tickets on line, but only an hour earlier- as for the swing you need to select the exact (15min) time slot.We tried the VR and swing experience. And was totally worth it.Just make sure you go up on a sunny day, so you can completely enjoy the views as well…mahendra profile picturemahendra10:43 12 Aug 25Very nice view of Amsterdam city. Easy to get the free ferry across here and located 2 min walk from the ferry exit. It is fairly quick to get up and a good experience with the transparent ceiling in the elevator.Overall fun but once you are up there there is not a lot to do except the swing and VR experience. Good music too.Elviera L profile pictureElviera L09:30 06 Aug 25Great observation deck with views across the city. You can walk all round at the top.The Swing wasn’t for me even though I got a ticket 🤣. It looked way too scary! My friend went on alone! I did the virtual rollercoaster and that was too scary for me!!!The lift up is a brilliant experience too.We were planning on staying for cocktails after the swing but there were no seats at all so we left.We were going to book the revolving restaurant for an evening meal but the negative reviews made us change our minds.Great attraction though.Sep S. profile pictureSep S.18:29 05 Aug 25First of all, let’s be clear — this place is neither free nor cheap. If you’re okay with spending at least 20 euros, then it’s worth checking out. The entrance is 19 euros and the swing ticket costs around 7 euros, and drinks like a small beer or soda are about 4 euros. The view is spectacular — you can see the canals, cruise ships, and the city skyline. However, the swing ride itself is very brief, lasting only 1–2 minutes. They do take photos during the ride and offer a free low-quality version or a high-quality one for 25 euros. If you want better memories without paying that price, bring someone to take photos for you.Dan G. profile pictureDan G.08:34 23 Jul 25Great viewpoint on a sunny day over Amsterdam. Probably better to grab an online ticket with drinks attached… but will only save a few euros. Stayed chilling and drinking in the sunshine. Had a fab time.Mamdouh A. profile pictureMamdouh A.18:55 22 Jul 25It is one of the most essential attractions of Amsterdam. The view from up top is breathtaking, and it has some nice activities and photo opportunities. I highly recommend visiting it through the ferry, which is free for everyone.Lama profile pictureLama23:35 17 Jul 25This place exceeded my expectations,An amazing view from the rooftop, the swing was great with free digital video and pics. But i wish it was longer than 1 minute! They also take 2 free digital pics with a green screen for the group before going up which was fun to do. Their shop downstairs was also good with great selection of merchandise.Sian C. profile pictureSian C.20:54 03 Jul 25Really fun trip to the A'DAM Lookout. Amazing views from the top and easy to get too. The free boat from the station takes you straight there. We booked the swing which was definitely scary but so much fun! It included access to the view deck, the top floor and the VR experience. You get a full 360 view from the top of the building, we had a glorious day. Had to wait for the lift up and down for around 10 minutes but on a hot Saturday in June I guess its expected! We had tickets booked in advance and did get straight up to explore! Really recommended!Steve L. profile pictureSteve L.08:52 28 Jun 25Definitely for tourists, and I was one. Maybe fun for residents as well. Great views of the city. Drinks are reasonable for Amsterdam and the service is great. Didn't get to the restaurant. Even the elevator has a little light show, so don't forget to look up.badari vishal (hasy-vyangy K. profile picturebadari vishal (hasy-vyangy K.07:53 16 Jun 25Well and hurt touching impression with good services.Ufuk “Sonsuz Us” A. profile pictureUfuk “Sonsuz Us” A.22:37 15 Jun 25It's scary but exciting. It's even more exciting if you're afraid of heights.Stefano C. profile pictureStefano C.18:11 15 Jun 25Spectacular view the highest swing in Europe is super adrenaline-filledPhoto from customer reviewSam O. profile pictureSam O.17:55 15 Jun 25The VR part was short but pretty fun. The swing? Absolutely legendary! Amsterdam at your feet and was evet fun! Panoramic view was also amazing. Highly recommend, such an awesome experience!Kroketje profile pictureKroketje16:45 15 Jun 25Very nice. Especially our daughter thought it was fantastic. Of course it costs a bit but I thought it was value for money.Praveen K. profile picturePraveen K.15:23 15 Jun 25Good views across Amsterdam... Was quite crowded when we went otherwise it'd be a lot more enjoyable to sit down and grab a drink. The lift experience is cool as advertised.Gary N. profile pictureGary N.13:09 15 Jun 25Wonderful views, great place, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere in the restaurant but the food and drinks there are extortionately priced. After nearly 20Euro to get in, I was surprised they were still marking up the prices. Still, a lovely place and recommended.Photo from customer reviewPhoto from customer reviewPhoto from customer reviewInga V. profile pictureInga V.07:38 12 Jun 25This is a must see place visiting Amsterdam ‼️ Breathtaking scenery and experience will stay with you the rest of the day/night. If you book online (official site) the expenses would be the cheapest - 16,50€. While in other ways it starts from 18 to 24€. By the way they provide a great show on the way up on the lift 🛗 You can buy swings for extra 7,50€. The photos and video is available for extra 🤑 pay ( 12 -25€)Jenna profile pictureJenna21:14 09 Jun 25My husband and I really enjoyed the views at the top! It was extremely windy when we went but still enjoyable. The views were incredible, the elevator ride up had a cute light show (so be sure to look up when you go) and we also enjoyed the swings over the edge. Scary if you're afraid of heights but honestly it was fun and worth it. The ferry to get to the tower is free and takes less than 5 minutes, definitely worth checking it out.Lisa H. profile pictureLisa H.15:54 26 May 25Was ok for the price hubby had a beer they didn’t have decaffeinated coffee of any kind so I had a Coke Zero. We prepaid for the drinks. The elevator is really cool so when you get in get your camera ready pointing up nice light show. People were on the swings. The ferry over is free both ways. Leaves from the main train station. Worth the trip.serkan Y. profile pictureserkan Y.14:53 25 May 25We entered free with the Amsterdam Card. It is designed as an observation terrace on the top floor of a plaza. The top floor of the terrace is open and there is a swing swinging in the sky. We enjoyed the Amsterdam view here with a hot coffee. We crossed from the central train station by ferry. We walked for 5 minutes. It is very easy to get to. I highly recommend that you do it, it is very enjoyable.Zoe T. profile pictureZoe T.11:10 18 May 25Cool rooftop area, definitely wish I allocated a lot more time here so I can chill out there.Lovely views on a beautiful day, big space and the seating area is plenty. The swing being a separate price is a bit cheeky, but the staff are really kind.Paul E. profile picturePaul E.20:42 10 Feb 25Good view of Amsterdam from the top and easily accessible via the ferry. Really nice bar at the top with very reasonable drink prices.Benjamin T. profile pictureBenjamin T.15:54 02 Feb 25Surprisingly fun. A light show on the way up, lovely green screen opportunities and the swing experience was terrifying but made for good photos oops and adrenaline. It's truly upsetting though that they charge €29 for the video they record of you, which is more than the swing and admission fee combined but if you're okay with just photos, I'd highly recommend itBerry C. profile pictureBerry C.12:25 18 Jan 25One of the best experiences I had in the city!I had a wonderful day! I booked online a tour and burger menu, I arrived at 1 pm and left and 9 pm so I enjoyed the city in morning and with evenings lights. The view is amazing., 360*all around Amsterdam. The sky bar is so nuts . I had two tequila sunrises really well done 👍🏻, and also burger was good ! I will back for sure for spend another day off chilling with Amsterdam view. Really recommend!Matteo Di M. profile pictureMatteo Di M.12:53 04 Jan 25Very nice experience. The bar view is breathtaking and the swing experience is so exiting. You can enjoy the view both from the 360 degrees windows that surround the bar and from the terrace on the roof. There are also telescopes to look around the city from that high spot. The swing experience is totally worth the price and they take care of the photo and videos. Super recommend.Nataliia profile pictureNataliia22:29 01 Jan 25I booked the tickets online to avoid the queue, though it turned out there wasn’t one. It’s also super easy to reach, thanks to the free ferry from Central Station—so convenient! The building has plenty to explore, from a small cinema and photo spots to restaurants, bars, and, of course, the swing—which was an unforgettable experience. It’s a fantastic spot to spend a few hoursGemma P. profile pictureGemma P.11:31 14 Nov 24Enjoyed a ferry ride across from central station to get to this fun attraction. The experience starts as soon as you go up the first flight of stairs where there is an opportunity to have your photo taken. Then it is into the lift, which has a light show as you speed up. The views from the inside and outside observation decks are great, with free telescopes and lots of information about the building and it's history. We paid for the swing, which was a short but exhilarating experience! We had also paid for a burger and a drink with our entry ticket, burger was nice but nothing special. I would recommend getting a ticket in advance as the queues to buy on the day looked quite long.
