Nguồn gốc:

Ngày xưa, người ta tin rằng, nếu có ngón tay cái màu xanh (giống màu của lá cây) thì trồng cây sẽ mát tay.

Cách dùng:

Thường dùng với động từ “have”:

have a green thumb

hoặc dùng với giới từ with

somebody with a green thumb

Chú ý dùng dạng số ít của thumb:
