GDS Satin 190gsm Photo Paper is a high quality, bight white, paper with a soft sheen finish which is ideal for printing photographic and display work on your HP T520 printer. It is a great choice for posters, wallcharts, portfolio work and photos in both black & white and colour. We also stock this paper with a high Gloss finish - the satin is more popular as the high glossy version can produce glare under lights which can compromise your printed image. The satin is softer with less glare. The special 4 layer coating on this paper ensures that you will get the most vivid and best quality prints with more colour vibrancy than on matt papers. GDS Photo Papers are PE backed, just like the traditional photos you would get from a print kiosk or shop, the backing is a thin plastic which stops the paper from warping even with the heaviest ink loads, so it's perfect for full coverage photos even with dark colours.

WHAT PAPER & MEDIA TYPES YOU CAN USE ON THE HP T520 PRINTER...?

GDS stocks a huge range of paper and media in rolls and sheets and we know exactly what fits your HP T520 Printer and what doesn't!

Please note that the HP T520 is available in two model sizes: T520 24" (CQ890) and T520 36" (CQ893). Rolls up to 24" will fit on the A1 24" model and rolls up to 36" will fit on the A0 36" model. You can use the filters on the left of your screen to make sure you get the selection that fits the model you have.

The HP T520 can print on a range of media. It is aimed at the entry level architectural/construction design market so it’s perfect for mainly printing plans, layouts, technical drawings, presentation designs, etc, but you can easily print on the following media types:

HP T520 TRANSPARENT OR TRANSLUCENT FILM

If your paper is a transparent film (for example, a transparency), select paper typeFilm>Transparent/Clear film.If your paper is a translucent paper or film (for example, technical or tracing paper), select paper typeFilm>Matte film.

HP T520 BOND AND COATED OR TECHNICAL PAPER

Your paper type selection for generic paper depends on the paper’s ink absorption capacity.

• • For natural tracing papers, select paper typeNatural Tracing Paper< 65 g/m2 or Natural Tracing Paper > 65 g/m2, depending on the weight of the paper.

• • For thin papers (< 90 g/m2 ) oruncoated papers(for example plain paper or bright white paper), select paper type Bond and Coated Paper > Plain Paper. You can also select Recycled Bond Paper.

• • Forlight coated papers(< 110 g/m2 ), select paper type Bond and Coated Paper > HP Coated Paper.

• • Forheavyweight coated papers(< 200 g/m2 ), select paper type Bond and Coated Paper > Heavyweight Coated Paper

If your paper is a photo paper, use thePhoto Paper category. For glossy or high-gloss paper select paper typePhoto Gloss Paper. ForSemi-gloss, Satin, Pearl, or Lusterfinishes, select paper typePhoto Semi-gloss/Satin Paper. To increase gamut on photo paper, select paper type HP Universal Gloss Photo Paper or HP Universal Satin Photo Paper, depending on the finish.

WHAT GDS RECOMMENDS FOR YOUR PERFECT HP T520 PRINTS...

Whether you need T520 CAD paper (uncoated basic plain white paper) for printing technical drawings and layouts, T520 Presentation paper (coated with a unique inkjet layer to give a higher quality print), T520 Heavyweight paper, or T520 Photo Paper to make sure your images look tip top, we can pinpoint the roll or sheet pack for you.We have put together a selection of the most popular rolls and sheets for you to choose from, with total peace of mind for excellent print results.

The rolls we suggest for the HP T520 printer are all supplied on a 2 inch core (50mm) (this is the tube in the centre of the paper roll which slides onto the printer spindle) - cores come in two standard sizes 50mm (2") and 76mm (3") - Note the T520cannot handlelarger 3 inch core rolls.

Our T520 paper range should give you a paper product that is suitable for any of your print jobs. Our most popular papers are:

• • 80gsm Uncoated Paper- basic line drawings

• • 90gsm Uncoated Paper- slightly heavier for in house line drawings maybe with a bit of colour or the odd fill

• • 112gsm Tracing Paper- where translucent prints are needed for overlays

• • 110 micron Double Matt Film- a polyester translucent tracing film with water resistance and anti-rip robustness

• • 100gsm Matt Coated Paper- perfectly smooth for that higher quality presentation feel when showing clients your plans and layouts

• • 120gsm Matt Coated Paper- a heavier feel for smarter prints or 3D renders - great for portfolios or when the prints might be handled more often

• • 165gsm Matt Coated Paper- smart poster paper with a robust feel, capable of handling heavy inks loads for full coverage and images

• • 180gsm Matt Coated Paper- same as the 165gsm but some customers prefer the specific 180gsm weight

• • 190gsm Satin Photo Paper- a lovely sheened surface without too much glare - the sharpest most vivid colours and a really professional result

• • 190gsm Gloss Photo Paper- same as the Satin but this one has a very high gloss surface

WHAT PAPER SIZES FIT THE HP T520 PRINTER...?

Please note that the HP T520 is available in two model sizes: T520 24" (CQ890) and T520 36" (CQ893).

• • The HP T520 A1 size (24") printer can take rolls up to 24" wide / 610mm and up to 50mt long (10cms diameter).

• • The HP T520 A0 size (36") printer can take rolls up to 36" wide / 914mm and up to 50mt long (10cms diameter).

Both HP T520 printer models can also handle sheets - the cassette can be loaded with A3 or A4 paper to feed continuously or you can load A2 or A1 sheets individually. Here is an overview of the standard sizes of wide format paper rolls and sheets and the size of prints you can use them for. Sizing varies between traditional CAD sizing where true ISO sheet size is required from rolls, and graphics sizing which is almost always oversized. Where a roll accommodates 2 sizes you can print both by simply turning your print to landscape.

CAD PAPERS FOR TECHNICAL DRAWINGS

• • 297mm - this is available in only a few product ranges and is the exact width of the long side of A4 or the short side of A3

• • 420mm -this is available in only a few product ranges and is the exact width of the long side of A3 or the short side of A2

• • 594mm -this is available in more product ranges and is the exact width of the long side of A2 or the short side of A1

• • 610mm - this is readily available in nearly every product range - it is oversize so when printing A2 or A1 scale drawings you would have a small margin

• • *841mm - this isavailable in CAD product ranges and is the exact width of the long side of A1 or the short side of A0

• • *914mm - this is readily available in mostproduct ranges and isoversize so when printing A0 or A1 scale drawings you would have a small margin

GRAPHICS PAPERS FOR PRESENTATION AND DISPLAY
