• I recently bought a house with Control4 Home Automation hardware integrated into it. The majority of the home is integrated through this system and can be controlled via an App… read more and/or the light switches (lights, motorized blinds, ceiling speakers, etc..). Upon close date, I received the keys and when I entered the home, none of the features were functioning properly as promised on the listing and the seller was uncooperative with helping fix the issues with the Control4 System. My real estate agent had recommended that I contact Nick from A1 Securities as he has recently become a Control4 Dealer and would be able to fix my system. When I contacted Nick, he was very accommodating with my work schedule and was able to come after hours to come look at my problem (We had planned for 7PM, talk about Business Pride). There were a lot of problems with the Control4 System upon first inspection, but Nick’s dedication to ensuring I had a fully functioning system before he left was just a testament to his reputation. He had spent 5 hours (yes to midnight) and made sure to answer all of my questions along the way as well teach me how the system works. He was very knowledgeable and did not shut down any ideas that I had suggested in order to fix the system. Thanks to Nick, I now have fully functioning lights, blinds, etc. If you’re looking to upgrade your home’s security or seeing what options are available to make your home a “Smart Home”, Contact Nick from A1 and he’ll be sure to set you up!

  We have had the pleasure of dealing with A-1 Security and Remo the owner for the past 20 years. In our first house, Remo quoted us a price to upgrade… read more our old alarm system. Unbeknownst to him, the walls had bracing blocks and it took a lot of extra effort to pull the wires. To his credit, Remo stuck to his original quote and did not charge us extra for the countless extra hours that it took him and his team to get the job done. Our current house we custom built. Based on the great experience we went back to A-1 and made an appointment with Remo. He promptly came over and designed a full alarm system including cameras. He never tried to up-sell or push us into items we did not need. To weigh our options, we got multiple quotes from other companies but the system from A-1 was exactly what we had in mind for a very competitive price. Our new system uses the latest technologies and we love it. Together with the cameras they offer great user friendliness and peace of mind. Remo’s son Nico, helped during the installation process and showed tremendous dedication. We decided to add home automation to our new house and while at it, also upgrade our basic network to a Ubiquiti system. Nico was key in designing and setting it up and making sure that it all worked. He ran into an issue when a module in a remote building could not communicate with the transmitter but after a few visits and lots of dedication he got it to work. This is a great family business that we can wholeheartedly recommend.
