Jan 13, 2018 6 0 510 i was wondering, i am about to get a new pc with a ryzen 5 1500x processor, i'm not planning to overclock it so i went with a A320 mb instead of the B350, is there any difference in the performance or dimension/size or the ports of the motherboards ? Solution Of course there's difference but that also varies with manufacturer. In general, beside not being able to OC on A boards, they are generally much poorer with ports and features, practically basic entry models with poor VRM and more suited for APU processors. In addition, "X" is practically wasted on it because XFR is actually overclocking feature. All of that means somewhat reduced performance comparing to higher MB models. Mar 25, 2015 384 1 4,965 Overclocking a Ryzen CPU is so easy that I think you will kick yourself later for not getting a B350 motherboard. The A320 chipset also has fewer PCIE lanes and one fewer USB 3.1 Gen2 header. Great B350 mobos are so cheap, that I would not consider an A320. What size motherboard are you considering? (ATX, mATX, mini-ITX)? Upvote 0 Downvote neiler0847
