Has it's ups and downs.
True 1440p at 144hz and ~2ms gtg. Not much else to say... Except that it would be nice if it could do 10 bit color, or even 8 bit with up-sampling. For a TN panel, the viewing angle is pretty nice; it you're not going out of your way to view it from the side, you won't have to worry about losing the image. Has HDR support, but at only 350 nits, you won"t notice a difference, hence mine is turned off. My last two gripes with this otherwise beautiful display is that it lacks both vesa mount and pivot feature, and secondly is that the menu buttons are really bad, making me wonder why they didn't go for the d-stick menu controls instead. Oh, and the base, while sturdy, is kinda annoying. Don't know why they insist this is a "GAMER!" included feature.

Nice for gaming
It's a nice step up for a console gamer used to using TVs. Picture quality is goodand it5s smooth and quick for gaming, but I find the color isn't great compared to good TVs and higher quality monitors; apparently this is normal for TN type displays so i can't knock it much for that.

Great monitor, great value.
Crisp color, fluid, smooth display, works great. Cons are the stand so far, it's a bit flimsy, but nothing so bad that I'd want to return it for. Mine was refurbished, and I suspect the problem may have been with the stand as the screws that were supposed to bolt the part that connected the monitor and the stand were improperly installed, so I had to take it apart and fix it, nothing too major.

144z 1440p 1ms 27" is exactly what I was looking for and for the price this couldn't be beat. It's my first 144hz monitor and I felt the difference before even launching a game. I did experiance a bug others have posted about where the screen flickers. Using the hdmi that came with the monitor solved the issue immidietly. Weird glitch, the cable I was having issues with is higher quality, or at least more expensive.

Good buy
Look at the specs and you can tell this is a good buy. Does it follow through? Yes, so far (one month). That said, the menu navigation is a bit annoying to navigate. Also, it has free sync which at the time I just thought was a better version of g sync, but now I realize it's amd's version, where g sync is for Intel. They are not cross compatible, be warned. Still kicking myself for that. (the monitor still works with Intel, just not the free sync)

This is by far the best monitor I have ever owened. 1Ms R.T., 2500 x 1440,Eye protect, and it is acer.
Look at the specs on this monitor they are closer to a 5 or 6 hundred dollar monitor. I paid 400.00 for mine and worth every penny. I have had Acer computers and more recently 2 other monitors made by acer and have been very happy with there quality.
