myCNC control software is available for the following operating systems:

myCNC software installation packages

NOTE: We encourage users to utilize out Ubuntu MATE image provided below, which has myCNC pre-installed and pre-configured, along with a number of other QOL improvements.

If your OS installation lacks some packages necessary for the correct workflow of myCNC application, these packages must be installed separately. If issues arise with configurations that feature non-standard OS builds, the myCNC support team may potentially not be able to provide assistance.

ISO image files for Linux SBC

We provide ready-to-go image files with complete Linux OS and myCNC software installed for the Single Board Computers Raspberry-Pi2/3, Odroid-C2, Odroid-XU4, Asus TinkerBoard.

  1. The image file should be unpacked by 7z archiver, then
  2. Use either Rufus or Etcher software utilities to burn the image to a microSD card

The LiveCD is in beta-testing, provided AS IS. A manual on LiveCD installation is available on our Documentation Wiki.

  1. LiveCD can be burned to DVD disk or written to USB disk with either Rufus or Etcher software utilities.

Ubuntu Mate 22.04 LTS + myCNC

Latest release - requires cloning. To clone, unzip the image onto a bootable external media (USB disk), boot from it following instructions in the myCNC docs, and then copy the disk image to the internal drive of the computer using the dd program.

NOTE: To use all available disk space, run the extpart.sh script in the ADMIN folder, edit for a specific configuration if necessary.
