Aligning Teaching Strategies With Available Resources

Abstract

In this paper we report on our experiences from aligning teaching strategies with available resources when constantly redesigning an introductory course on business information and communication technologies at a North American university. The examination results of 148 students have been analyzed to better understand the impact of redesigning the course in a way that uses fewer university resources. We have managed to adapt our teaching strategy and to create a learning environment that achieves comparable learning outcomes without jeopardizing quality.
