  Excellent tool

  Bought to remove the pulley on a 2002 Golf PD TDI 130. You will need an M10 spline tool (75 mm) and 1/2" ratchet to go through the middle of the tool and lock the alternator shaft. Use a 17mm spanner on the tool to loosen the pulley. You will need a fairly long ratchet and extra leverage on the spanner. I used a 1/2" long extension bar inserted over one of the prongs on the open end of the spanner.
