Altex, AINIA´s CO2 industrial plant, offers CO2 extraction services to obtain natural extracts, defatted materials and other purified products.

Clean and effective technology

CO2 extraction permits  to extract and separate a high variety of substance without the use of organic solvents, without waste generation, and without downstream operationsto remove the solvent.

It works at low temperatures, so it is suitable for thermolabile molecules. It is used for extraction, but also forapplications such as non desired substances removal (pesticides, odours, chemicals) or  sterilization.
