As Public Art Project Manager, Amber Torres (she/her/hers) is responsible for managing the City’s public art commissions. Amber has previously held positions in outreach and program management at arts organizations such as the Boston Arts Academy, Boys and Girls Club (BlueHill and Charlestown), and the Eliot School of Fine and Applied Arts. As host of local online platforms The Museum Tv, HoodGrown Aesthetic, Cabo Verde Network and more, Amber learned to combine institutional knowledge with a grassroots approach in order to create new pathways for artists to access and benefit from Boston’s creative economy.
