Singe CD will be disabled once GROM is connected, GROM replaces CD player.

USB Connection: GROM-MST4 USB car adapter kit connects USB 2.0 device such as flash drive, external hard drive or mass storage device to the stock stereo for music playback and integrated controls. Control the music through factory car stereo or steering wheel controls, see titles, browse by folders.

iPhone / iPod/ iPad USB car integration: Connect Apple device to the factory car stereo via USB port. Play music, control from car stereo or steering wheel, and charge at the same time. Use standard USB to Apple Lightning connector cable. All iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad with Lightning style cable are compatible. iPhone, iTouch, and iPad with 30-pin style cable are compatible. (iPod video, iPod photo, iPod classic, iPod shuffle, iPod mini with 30-pin connectors are not compatible.)

Bluetooth add-on (sold separately): Make hands free phone calls (HFP), stream music from your smartphone to the factory car stereo, control music with the car stereo or steering wheel controls with GROM Bluetooth Dongle Android and iPhone smartphones and most music streaming apps are supported.

Aux 3.5mm phone jack connection to car stereo for any additional audio source such as DVD, MP3 player, XM and more.Available with plus 5V charging option via AUX-In 3.5mm and 5V USB charging cable

Volvo S40, V50, S60, XC90 2006-2013 Single CD stereos are compatible.

For cars outside of USA, in some case if device is recognized and work properly but only for few seconds you will need to visit your dealer and apply MOST Security OFF patch. This patch can be removed by the authorized dealer only. This patch will allow third party integration devices to work properly with your factory stereo. Currently there is no workaround been found besides visiting the dealer.For cars within USA, there are some rare cases, if the car was imported to the US, it might have MOST Security ON. No any Volvo dealer within US has the ability to turn it off. In that case you can return the kit back to us within 30 days for the refund.
