Oh Hae-Young (Seo Hyun-Jin) is dumped by Han Tae-Jin (Lee Jae-Yoon) on the day before their wedding. She is unable to tell the truth about what happened and lies to others about what happened. She works as an assistant manager for a company's restaurant division. She pretends that nothing happened.
Meanwhile, Park Do-Kyung (Eric) is a popular sound engineer. One year ago, he was supposed to marry Oh Hae-Young (Jeon Hye-Bin), but she did not appear at their wedding. He became desperate. Later, he hears from his friend Lee Jin-Sang (Kim Ji-Suk) that Oh Hae-Young is about to marry Han Tae-Jin. Park Do-Kyung gets drunk and places her fiancé in a difficult predicament. Park Do-Kyung is unaware that the man is about to marry another woman named Oh Hae-Young. The fiancé is soon imprisoned and right before his imprisonment he lies to Oh Hae-Young. He tells her that he does not love her anymore, but he also vows to take revenge on Park Do-Kyung. For his part, Park Do-Kyung soon has visions of a woman he has never met. He soon realizes the woman is another Oh Hae-Young.

Jan 14 2025 12:29 pm So toxic. I’m on episode 14 and I’m really trying to finish this. This couple is toxic as all get out. They lay hands on each other when they fight (like, on ends up bleeding). She has no self esteem or pride. I know this is supposed to be romantic but sometimes people don’t need to be together.
I feel like this is a trudge to make it to the end.

Having imagined a life with another, full of hopes and possibilities, and having these taken away from you suddenly is shocking and upsetting. Oh hae young, she is full of inspiration. She is full of flaws and yet she is realistic. She is barely getting by yet she is trying her best, even with a horrible work life and difficult family situation. She loves with all her heart, and only wishes for someone to do the same for her. When you are sad, you take comfort in how she is the most miserable person on earth. When you are sad, you take comfort in how she tries her best to smile and laugh in every situation. You also take comfort in how vulnerable she is when she's alone, as she is just a girl in love, broken hearted. Anyone who's experiencing a break up, this drama hits you in a different way. Oh hae young in the end got the closure she needed, and found a love worthy of her. She gives us hope that something better out there awaits us, even when we can't see the same especially when life is giving us multitude of lemons. Thank you, Oh Hae Young, for comforting us, got letting us find comfort in your misery, hope, laughter, and a happy ending. After all, is it really the end, if there isn't a happy ending?
Sep 30 2023 9:53 am Seo Hyun-Jin did awesome works here. Her character is of difficult role to deliver. One tiny more dose of Oh Hae Young's straight forwardness would have crossed the borderline where OHY would be seen as too much or annoying or over the top or overacting. But she stood right there on that very thin borderline in the "good side" still, due to her highly skillful performances. Her character type, i would say is in the most difficult category to perform. She was very much aware of the risks and therefore she well-measured her performances down to the tiniest detail. Jun Jin Hyun did that in My love from the star. Not comparing the two, but couldn't help referring to JJH's work in that one. Having said the above, then Seo Hyun-Jin is in the heavy-weight class of actors. Cùkkae...! Agassi, I am your big fan from now on. Looking forward to seeing your works in highly demanding roles in the future.
Aug 08 2023 9:11 am A decent watch. Not really a masterpiece or a groundbreaking drama, but I just love how Hyeon Jin ate her role! She was hysterical, crazy, pitiful, relatable, irritating at times, but she is so human that I cannot help but sympathize with her. I agree that there were few episodes which seemed to be full of filler scenes which I think what others found as dragging.

Sep 05 2022 6:41 am I really don't get how there are tons of Han Tae-Jin supporter here. Like I get he was treated unfairly by Do-Kyeong due to misunderstanding but literally what he did to Hae-Young was inexcusable and he doesn't deserve OHY at all. Like he said that he dislike her way of eating and never prevent her from telling their family that it is her who reject the marriage (I get what OHY did here since she was still in love with him and don't want to embarrassing herself) instead of being honest to her. He literally don't care if he ruin OHY more in the process from the humiliation from her families and neighbours, her crying a lot, and many more. If I were OHY, I wouldn't back together with him too lol.
Honestly I initially didn't think that PDK is perfect for her either but the way he comforting her and his character development, he truly deserves her despite the mistake he commit.
Aug 27 2022 4:04 am I got curious cos SHJ won best actress baeksang here. Liked the first few eps but got tired of the will they or wont they narrative of the couple. It was too tiring to watch I just wanna slap them on the face and tell them to just fckin decide. Like come on, the characters are in their 30s?? Thats my complaint but overall if you want something light and funny this one may be good for you.

Aug 02 2022 1:18 pm A very good show. Well worth watching. Seo Hyun-Jin was incredible. In a supporting role Heo Young-Ji was great and full of energy. I hope to see her in more dramas. She doesn't have many acting credits listed. Maybe because of her music career? My only "complaint" was that too many times the lead characters broke up and got together. As always Kim Mi-Kyung was very good in her supporting mom role. I hope she hasn't been typecast as a mom. I'd like to see her in a leading role.
Jul 31 2022 5:52 am I loved the writer’s other dramas so I had high hopes and I badly wanted to like this one, but oh my this drama was a disaster! I appreciate that they showed how flawed the characters are and that made me relate to them, but there was too much toxicity going on. The dramatic and unrealistic turn out of events and shabby reasoning of the characters made this drama a mess. I might try to rewatch this to see what’s so good about it.

May 18 2022 8:36 pm A very interesting drama . It kept you glued. The main actirs were good with very good chemistry. This is my firsttime I have watched Eric he is really good - i like Seo Hun Ji. She is a good actress. Will like to see them together. All the actors were good. Lived I would give it a Thumbs up. Liked Kim mi Kyung ahe always playes a mothers role she ia so good. .

I understand how people think the female lead is annoying but to me she’s just allowing herself to feel and showing emotions through all the sh*t that has been thrown her way. I really am sympathetic towards her. I wish the ML would tell her he loves her or tell her the truth though. It’s so annoying watching him torture himself and her because he’s unable to be honest with the people he loves and cares about. Soo Kyung is literally hilarious and I’m rooting for her with Jin-Sang ??❤️ I hated the other Hae Young at first but now that she’s backed off Do Kyung and allowed him to be happy I don’t find her as annoying. This drama definitely a lot to take in and you have to have willpower to see the storyline through so I understand why a lot of people wouldn’t like it.

Apr 25 2022 3:46 am I've watch the show five times now and I have to say it my favorite Korean drama of all. It has all the components of a great love story. It is beautifully written and acted out. It's sad, funny, heartbreaking and it keeps you intrigued. A well put together ensemble. Many great key characters to enjoy. A very deep felt engaging storyline. Ten thumbs up for me.
Mar 01 2022 6:02 am Dropped it the moment the fl started to like the ml. Is she serious??? i didnt really understood the fl here. I wanted to see her heal to love herself first and know her worth before jumping to another rel or falling for someone else. I was thinkin maybe she eas vulnerable thats why when she saw how the ml was there for here, she started to fall slowly. Not my kind of female lead i adore but yeah ok some people may justify her feelings. To each his own.

Feb 16 2022 2:00 am I dropped it at Episode 12. Some scenes doesn't even make sense. Too much issues goin' on, too much alcohol. I hate all the characters here except Isadora(I love her). Female lead is so pathetic, too much crying. Male lead is an asshole and selfish. There's so many repetitive scenes, so boring. I'm not seeing any improvement in their character here or being interested in their ending. I will rate this drama 2/10. Bye!
Feb 13 2022 10:26 am I never rewatch kdrama, but this series is the first i want to rewatch. And this time i feel more the chemistry and character. And the pain also hits me the most. I never in Hae young situation, but yet i can relate her feelings. Bravo for the actress. And don't forget the OST!! Its been in my playlist for last 5 years.

Sep 30 2021 2:16 pm One of the best series i recently watched!!! I thought CLOY was top but this one is as good! I really really liked this series! Not only the storyline is very good, the acting of ALL the characters just brilliant. An original story, different from what we usually see. All the ingredients are there to make it a real success: funny, sad, heartwarming just perfect. The leads, what a chemistry and superb acting. I love Eric so much, sexy, gorgeous, great actor and SHJ what a performance. A+ series and highly recommend to watch!! I will watch this for sure a 2nd time!

Jul 18 2021 7:07 pm @Jb I think you didn't watch till the end? It's not Dokyung who ruined TaeJin but his business partner did. After all, his partner ruined their business and that chairman know about that and use the opportunity to play with Dokyung and Taejin. And each of them made their own decision for their mistake, TaeJin and Hae Young (2nd heroin) the one who broke up and cancel their wedding and Dokyung the one who throw the dart and decided to ruined Tae Jin (but later we knew it chairman). Their mistake is their choice not anyone and they finally got back what they did to others.
This drama is an interesting drama and the plot is unique that's why this drama was a hit and got many awards. Overall I love this drama but if only they stick with 16 episodes it will be perfect because the few last eps were a bit drag. I gave 8/10.

Seo-hyun-jin's one the best performance in this drama. Some international people's are funny . They're pretending that FL as pathetic ..Lol. I think most of the people doesn't know what is the real meaning of love ... Because of the same name ,the female lead suffered her full life miserably (some people didn't observed that situation before commenting ) . Female Lead (FL) needs someone who really cared for her .. that's how love flows between two person ,but most the comments are here that they calling her pathetic lol..I think those who thinks that way, they should look at first their life ..Most of them will be pathetic i bet . So before judging others situation judge yourself at first .The story was nicely established as our real life ( Person's life, Father mother role, Love caring .. Everything nicely arranged as our real life pattern ).That's why after hearing the truth she knows what will be best for her , what her heart wants ..She goes after there . This drama is One of the masterpiece of Seo-hyun-jin & Eric.

Tae jin is also at fault because of his pride but the real asshole is dokyung. Destroying someone else's marriage because of his stupidity. Oh hae young literally gave her self to dokyung. Those who are defending the main characters please think of your choices in life.

She was miserable, the moment she knows about han tae jin's truth she realized that Han tae jin was never a better guy than Park do kyung.. and her heart already tied to park do kyung anyway.. it was a mess.. honestly, I wouldn't want to go back to my ex if he treats me so, no matter what the reason behind.. the fact remain that he hurt me that day, and that it couldn't be erased.. that's what exactly happened to oh hae young.. to choose hurt her rather than trying to at least talk it out with her.. they're supposed to trust each other.. the fact that he didn't talk and hurt her instead means he didn't trust her enough.. and it is signal that they weren't going to have a healthy relationship..
there's one most relatable fact I know watching this drama.. "the comfortable corner" it was park do kyung for oh hae young.. she found him when she was broken.. no matter how imperfect that corner is, she was content.. that's how difficult it is to find your comfortable corner when you're no longer young and you're afraid of many things..
And honestly I can't understand why many people cheer for han tae jin.. he is the most prideful character in the drama.. what?! He break a girl's heart claiming it is for her sake.. that's hypocrite logic.. and oh hae young realized this, that to him she is not as important than himself..
That's what park do kyung almost do too.. breaking her heart claiming it's for the best..tho it was more because he was also miserable, that he is too scared and nervouss about her.. but lucky him he got his chance because he has better character development as he is the male lead.. he pleaded and changed his core from someone who give so little of his heart to someone who give his all for a woman.. you can say he got his buff with the clairvoyants skill..
but what did han tae jin do? He only make excuses and his character went downhill right away.. he never had a charming character in the first place, so I found it hard to root for him..
Lucky him he got to say one line that I considered as conclusion for the whole storyline.. he said to oh hae young "that day when I said that to you, I think it was your fate" to meet park do kyung..
I'm instantly become a fan of the writer.. it was so nicely done.. perfect storyline.. to think that her name was also hae young lol..
This drama to this day is still my number 1 favorite.. it always teared me up.. I find oh hae young's character to be the most relatable in reality.. just pure diamond..
Jun 08 2021 3:10 pm The story is kind of cute with cruelty... But they like to drag a lot in this series. It's one of the series which you have to skip all the repetitive scenes and memories. The osts are nice, however if I wanted to hear music I won't watch a kdrama instead. The romanticized scenes were too much and could be shortened for sure. It would be enough to have 12 episodes and it would have been a really enjoyable drama to see.
Apart from the boredom and repetitiveness, the lead actors have a really good chemistry and there are really some good funny scenes. If you want to watch the series, keep your remote control in your hand :)

Mar 17 2021 11:44 am Before I used to like this drama but on rewatching it, I wondered what the hell made me like it in the first place. The ML destroyed the relationship between the Hae Young and her fiancé and over a misunderstanding. He saw and watched go through her pains and did not even bother to tell her.
Also the Fiancé is the victim in all this. He lost his business, his fiancée all because of someone’s pettiness. And why would the FL like someone like that in the first place, being desperate and crazy over a guy,It is humiliating really. Begging someone to like you, please if someone is not ready to be emotionally involved with you, move on. Life goes on. Why would you continuously hold over someone like that. Even after everything was revealed to Hae Young, how can she choose someone who destroyed her life.
I get that her ex fiancé dumped her, but at least he HAD a legit reason. He was in prison and wasn’t sure when he would be back. And if you love someone, how can you just leave him when he said let’s break up. Someone you dated for a long time. You should have at least ask his friends what’s up and if that is what he really wants, then break up.Feb 28 2021 3:35 pm Saw this on Netflix and I was not disappointed. Really liked the main characters but what really made this one of my favorite KDramas....the underlying humor!! So many KDramas give you a laugh here or there but the majority of episodes had me laughing and smiling from ear to ear. Thank you. Definitely recommend to anyone ❤

Jan 27 2021 1:17 am I have watched Another Oh Hae Young two times, maybe three. My thoughts when I watch the series at the different age are different. I really enjoyed the series every time I watch and when someone mention about the series or even the ost. When the series ends I always feel empty because I really really really LOVE the storyline, the characters and everything. I just finished it yesterday and I still can't move on T-T. I'm thankful that there's this heart-warming series, Another Oh Hae Young. I'm paying tribute to everyone who has made the series happened. Thank You So Much

Clearly they haven't watched anything good... the male lead is absolute trash and the female lead is so pathetic!! Tae Jin is a victim!!! This is seriously one of the worst dramas + male leads I've ever seen.

Nov 19 2020 6:12 am This drama is practically a story of my life, but without the happy ending. I found myself crying at some of scenes in this drama because it brought back a lot of bad memories. There was nothing in the story or character development that doesn't happen in real life. It was nice to see such a variety of situations in one series. As a professional, I had to try to maintain some neutral objectivity when learning of personal tragedys and joys when treating folks. As a member of the audience, I had my tissue box nearby. You, through story line and acting ability made it easy for me to suspend disbelief and join you, emotionally, in a powerful ride. In my quest to experience many Korean series and movies, I am always comforted to see that Kim Mi-Kyung is in the cast. Gamshabnida, thank you.

Sep 24 2020 11:58 pm Another Miss Oh: I really enjoyed the series. It was interesting, the plot was great, the actors all did an exceptional job in capturing the viewers attention. There were no boring scenes where you just want to grab the remote and fast forward. There were no obscene scenes. Now to what disappoints me about all these K-dramas. There is so much focus on certain aspects of the series and when it comes to the final chapter everything gets jammed into the final series. I expected a scene where the two physiologists appear and analyse his visions. The scene where he gets knocked over is revisited throughout the series... A scene on his recovery would have been nice. A scene of the crazy sister and her romance with the brother's childhood friend...
Well done on a great series .

Enjoyed watching their relationship progression the most. It's kind of a sad destiny story, I feel sorry for OHY1 and HTJ though.

Although a lot of the drama had unrealistic expectations and the plot was kinda crazy, it really moved me. I loved the female lead's character: she was the perfect blend of entertaining, brave, stupid and crazy. I cried when she cried, I laughed when she laughed and even when she was angry or sometimes in the wrong, I still felt for her. Because this drama was unexpectedly...real. Such a recommended watch for those like me who are used to the light and fun dramas. This changed me as a person and I don't really know why.

Jan 19 2020 4:09 pm I am so in love with Kim Mi-Kyung. Every role I see her in, she is amazing and her characters are really unique. After watching Eric's group Shinhwa crapping all over him for his scenes really made me enjoy it even more because I felt the same, lol. So many quirky characters. My favourite scene, apart from the mother/daughter dance, was when the boys were following Do-Kyung around. This is something they put in a lot of kdrama which I never got. For a nonKorean it seems very stalkerish. So that was a fun twist. Soundtrack was perfect, every song.

And also, the male lead is one of the most despicable male leads in my list. He wasn't an outwardly jerk, but he feel that he was entitled to act the way he did and was unapologetic with his actions. These characters aren't meant to be flawless, I know, but the way it went, just seem wrong.

Nov 18 2019 10:17 am I don't understand why this drama was a hit. Yes, the comedic action is funny and good but sometimes it's too exaggerated and cringey. But that part is still tolerable I'm currently at episode 11 and the reason why I really want to drop this drama is the male lead character. How can he go after the fianceé of the man whose life he ruined? I mean those 2 (Tae Jin and Hae young) were happy together and supposed to get married. Then due to Do Kyung's OWN mistake and grudge, he ruined both their lives. Not only them but 2 families were affected. Hae-young has to face all those criticisms and humiliation on her own not even knowing that his fianceé was sent to jail. She was really hurt by their broke-up. I really hate DoKyung's character. He got mad with Tae Jin because of what he said to Haeyoung when they broke up. But hello, why did they even have to break up in the first place? Isn't it because of what you did? And when he's apologizing to Hae Young when she found out the truth, he really doesn't sound sincere. He still got his pride high. Idk why he's like that. I liked his caring actions towards HY before but I can't forgive him for what he did towards HY and TJ. And as to Hae Young, when he found out about the real reason why TJ broke up with her, I was bothered that her initial reaction, make it seems that she's glad that he did not dump her because he hate her but because he got jailed. I was appalled that she's not even concern why TJ got jailed. Like, girl, he's the one you're supposed to marry so I assume you really love him and that's your only reaction? You're not even sad and got concerned about him? I think the real victims here are Tae Jin and pretty Hae Young. I know HY suffered a lot because of pretty HY in high school but I don't get it why she got super mad at her when she found out about the truth. Shouldn't she be more angry towards DK? I think pretty HY was also a victim of DK. Those words that he said about HY before their wedding are really hurtful. It will make you feel self-pity and lower your self esteem. If it's me, I will choose not to marry him too. I don't think DK deserves any of the 2 Hae-youngs. And Tae Jin, the biggest victim of all. I want him to have a happy ending. If not with Hae Young at least with someone better. Lastly, I really cannot fathom the idea of falling in love with someone who ruined your wedding, sent your fianceé to jail, concealed the truth to you and the constantly rejecting you when you fall for him. I'm not sure if I can still finish this drama if everytime I see DK, I just wanna punch my screen.
Nov 06 2019 12:31 pm easily the best korean drama i’ve ever watched. great acting, perfect chemistry between seo hyun jin and eric. the actors really give their all for this drama and i can tell. the story is just so good and they portray is so beautifully. this whole drama is a roller coaster ride where you can laugh your ass off at one scene, and cry your eyes out at the other. i really don’t understand why people don’t talk about this drama enough but this is truly the best for me and i’ve watched a lot of drama. ++ the OST songs are so good and memorable, it makes me wanna rewatch this drama every time i go and listen to it. if you’re looking at the comments wondering if you should watch this drama, believe me, you’ll love this. ❤️

[SPOILER] ending is great but could be a little bit better. why do they need to show that the old singer "regain consciousness". its like until the end the fate of MC is connected to him. -wish they just keep him dead (sorry about this i know its bad to make someone dead even if this is kdrama), i think that this is the best way that could have happen. he survived even if the old singer died
PS: I know alot of people will not like/love to keep watching after they know what the MC did. I hope you continue watching regardless of that, this is STILL A GREAT DRAMA! WATCH IT!

Jun 28 2018 1:00 am Watching for a 2nd time and a great drama all around. The actors were really just so well fit with the story! Great music too! I think one that is so underrated is Kim Ji Suk. He really carried the lead actor Eric's character all the way through this drama. I think Do Kyung was more tolerable bc of Lee Jin Sang, and KJS did a great job of conveying the human side of Do Kyung. Always a really neat surprise in all of the dramas he's starred in. Fighting KJS!!

Seo hyun jin acting is so good and she acted well at the sad scene, i think all the cast did a good job at acting. This is a must watch movie that i would recommend it to people i know. Also, the comedy scene, romantic, and sad scene was really good.

For some reason i really felt bad for the guy who went to jail for Eric's own misunderstanding and i just cant help it. And also i didnt have those "feels" that people have when watching a kdrama. Dont get me wrong it was good it just not my type of drama.
And i tried to watch it again this time. I just finished watching "Because this is my first life" and it was really good that i cant find a drama that can satisfy me like BTIMFL did. So i decided to give this another try and come to like it. But again i had to stop watching at episode 11 i just got bored with everything that is happening. I felt it was going in a whole circle. Them getting together then hating each other then getting together and their ex's getting revenge. My friends really like this drama and i think its good but its just isnt my taste.
But i still recommend you to give it a try. Its a good drama.

Apr 27 2018 10:19 am I thought I liked this drama until ep7 when it hit me that the main lead destroyed another man's life, took his woman and that my heart can't be OK w/ that until I find out what happens to that man. To think that the popular Ms Oh loved the main lead so much and ended up alone and the man whose life he ruined also ended up alone, I couldn't bear to watch further once I found that out. It's too cruel. I had a serious case of second male and female lead syndrome and can't bear to watch good kind people basically get hurt by the leads and the leads get to live happily but not the people they hurt. I don't care if it's intentionally or not, that's still too cruel. Does it matter if a drunk driver didn't intentionally hit you? Is the pain and devastation to your life still not terrible? If only they allowed the two ex fiances to get together or find new loves, I would have liked this show after that realization. Plus I don't like shows where the leads dismiss so easily the people they were so called so in love w/ and find new love w/ someone else when the people they loved were good people who did nothing wrong to lose that love.

Even with addition of 2 special eps weren't enough for me. Oh god this drama made my heart feel like a rollercoaster, it made me cry but in another 5 sec it also made me laugh. My kind of dramas are dramas that make me think, such as Goblin or dramas that make me question myself, that make me guess what kind of plot the drama is going to have and what kind of ending it will have. This was some kind of lightweight drama but I really liked this and it also had an interesting plot. I really had my eyes swollen because I cried each episode. I watched A Korean Odyssey before I watched this, if you know the storyline of A Korean Odyssey, the story is really different but somehow this drama can attract me by only watching the first episode. You won't regret watching this, I bet!!! Please, this drama is really the best.

The connections of each character to one another, their entangled fate, the comedy, the struggles of each characters and the every twist and turn of this drama made it a success. I think Erick Mun did a wonderful job at potraying his character. Cant think of anyone who can do a better job than him for the role of Park Do Kyung. And the rest of the actors/actress were great. MUST WATCH if you want to find yourself crying then laughing at the next moment. 10/10 !!

I tried, but (SPOILER!) when it kept getting messier, and he still hadn´t come clean, I had to quit (I liked him, but what he had done was despicable!). But true love conquers all! And I LOVED the noona! So much so that I watched the rest of the episodes, althought severely skiped. So... I liked the story, liked the end, but in the later episodes (as I was kinda skiping everything to get to the side stories - also fell for the younger brother/girlfriend and The trio) I almost forgot who the main leads were. But totaly worth it!

Because of you, Oh Hae-Young no.2 was a lively, a bit confused but charming girl-next-door type. The chemistry between you and Eric was over the moon. You've portrayed your character well, and the work in all is just a masterpiece.
For me I'm glad that Kim Ah-Joong turned down the offer.. IMHO, I think that she is pretty but lacks that kind of charisma which makes me root for or connected with her.

And no matter great the actress, she won't let someone touch and kiss her everywhere just for the sake of drama. The lead actors were indeed had something during filming.

It's like having sex without getting naked. I wonder how this two feels (despite an excuse, it just a professional work). It's obvious the eat each other lips and even their tounge in each other mouth. I know Eric has someone in real life but you can just do something like that with your co-star if no real feelings. And Seo Hyun Jin just let Eric touch every parts of her body comfortably. The thing that she never did before.
I'm not even their shipper but they're perfect on screen partner. Their intimate scenes are on another level. Their awkwardness is like a proof they're trying hard to separate between real and reel. Especially for Eric since we all know now he's attached. Go and watch the DVD to prove what I said. Eric is obviously having hard time to keep his relationship. It's all over his face in TVN awards. He surely wanted to act closer but he just can't. While Seo Hyun Jin looks hyper if he's around and smiles in every kisses. This kinda scenes were the reason Brad Pitt and Jennnifer divorced. They shouldn't contact each other after this drama finished otherwise, Eric could not safe his relationship. I guarantee that.

I hope next year Director and Writer'nim can work together again to make a second season. New life Oh Hae Young and Park Do-kyung after marriage and to include a life support stories Park Soo Kyung and Lee Jin Sang + Park Hoon and Anna. I want the male main character is replaced by Gang Dong Won, Jo Jung Seok or Jaejoong (JYJ) I hate to Eric Nam because he already had a girlfriend in the real world, huhu :'( I hope to see the second season next year or someday. This two really into their characters, fall in love and such but when Director said 'cut', they just turn as themselves again. We can see their tongue in every kisses but clear that they just finished it in one take. I really admire Eric for his faithfulness to his girl friend. He never seen try to flirt with Hyun Jin at all. It's all about work. And Hyun Jin also act so professional to reciprocate all the kisses Eric gived. I would like to see them be paired again. It's hard to believe if no romantic feelings at all. At least I'm sure they like each other's company, that's why those scenes are believable. Eric is so gentle towards Hyun Jin and Hyun Jin also respect Eric a lot. If he seems 'ignore' Seo Hyun Jin, it just the matter that he's attached now and he should respect his relationship. They both really good actors. Love them.

Jan 31 2017 11:16 pm Wow, this is quite a bipolar set of reactions... I get why, though. "Ordinary" Oh Hae Young IS frustrating, but then... that's the reason the story can happen at all. I LOVELOVELOVED it, though. Their chemistry together is probably THE best I've seen. When their eyes twinkle, when she's being cute and flirty, when they tease, and... aye carumba, their physical contact was on FIRE... I quite possibly had drool coming out of my slightly gaping-wide-open mouth as it turned from a whoaaaa expression to a gigantic smile.
I LOVE Ye Ji Won in general, but this... this over the top crazy noona role has to be the best of all her comedic wonders (she is fantastically funny no matter the show)! I ended up calling her the "drunken, French mumbling hair monster" since I tend to forget names of characters rather easily. I will never ever again be able to see Kim Ji Suk the same way, either. Their dancing together just... lord, I felt embarrassed to be watching but was so glued I thought my corneas might suffer actual damage from the series.
Anyway, I feel a bit sad for the people who didn't make it to the end. Episodes 15, 17 and 18 and the special episode are still on my laptop in the favorites folder... Oh, the theme song is also perfect... it stays in my head, STILL, but doesn't annoy me like 99% of them. It's a little ditty going la-dee-da that makes me think distinctly of Seo Hyun Jin (whom I LOVE just about everywhere but esp. here, in Feast of the Gods, in the goofy Three Musketeers, and OF COURSE in Romantic Doctor Kim!) and her cute little movements flash in my head when the song, also in my head, does its "yeahhhh" whisper-like ending...
If you want a TRUE romantic comedy with some melodrama, this is a great pick... There are certainly non-funny parts throughout, but the sweet cute stuff kills all the tears without making them linger around too long, at least for me :) Super show, phenomenal body motion throughout... Vātsyāyana (author of The Kama Sutra) would be proud :P

Plain OHY pissed me off .. i know, she just wanted love but she was so pathetic. I can understand her feelings because she had to suffer a lot in the past because of pretty OHY and her wedding was canceled also because of pretty OHY ... but the way she overreacted all the time like a crazy b*** made me very agressive and im feeling so sorry for pretty OHY. At the beginning, i liked this drama very much until the development of this weird OHY character ( not her acting btw )

Great script with great director who delivers it brilliantly and off course Amazing chemistry between the leads.

So the doctor probably thought that if he was able to somehow save the singer then Eric wouldn't die either because that would mean the future is changed.

And the way the romance developed was nice and tight - rewarding to watch. They didnt waste time like so many others do, where you have 50 episode series and the main couple gets together in the last five minutes of the last episode.
They didnt waste time and then they managed to make it interesting even after that instead of fizzling out. The kissing looked really good, like real people - in stark contrast to 99% of korean series, where kissing looks like its being done by two kindergarten children.
Awesome stuff right here, except that unneccesarry "twist" right before the ending.

Eric Mun is not my type but this drama made it possible for me to fall for him! He's amazingly good with the character. Great casting actually! They are all great! Each supporting role just made the whole drama more appealing. Oh hae young's character is so crazy I love her! I hate pitiful characters, hers is just the right blend! lol if that even make sense. I know this is an unpopular opinion but overall I found her character so unlikeable and almost annoying which made it tiring to watch. I do understand why adult Oh Hae Young is this way due to her past but most of the time she was just too immature (blaming others for her bad luck) and overreacting to everything. I would've enjoyed this series if the writers toned down her character a bit.

I am not through yet, but I really wonder why Do-Kyung doesn't try to change his visions but instead always try to make them possible (I know it's not conscious 'trying'). This is definitely unrealistic. Also I think all characters have some serious problems with the logic in their behaviour in certain scenes. But that is common in korean series ;)) Anyway I am curious how it will end.

Sep 01 2016 8:54 pm I only became a fan of Eric Mun and SHJ after watching OHY. You can't really blame their fans if they ship them too much in real life. Their chemistry onscreen was so convincing. It looks so real which makes them both effective actors. Whether they have something going on in real life or not, I think only the two of them would know the truth. But, focusing on the drama itself, all the actors did a great job portraying their respective roles and most especially the main lead couple. If one of them didn't give their all out acting in this drama, they wouldn't become too convincing as actors portraying as couples. Both of them connected well with their acting, they look good together, and you feel their longing for each other. This will always be one of my best watched kdrama and even if they don't end up together in real life, at least onscreen, I would be excited to see them act together again. Love, love this onscreen couple! And I just love another OHY:) SHJ is a great actress and very refreshing to see in the drama land. Hope she gets more good projects in the future:)

Admire the brilliant idea pertaining to the whole story of this drama. The linking from one part to another was well done.
This is the first show which makes me know about the role of 'sound producer' and I believe it plays a major role to the drama.
Like all the Actors and Actresses in the drama! You had showed the viewers what true love and genuine friendship are about.
Really wish to see the same team of people acting in another drama again!

Jul 16 2016 6:44 pm Whether it's true or not Eric and Seo Hyun Jin are dating, they definitely very comfortable around each other and we as viewers can believe they're lover in the drama. I think Eric could convince Seo Hyun Jin to act intimately with him. She can really go with the flow for all of their romantic scenes since she feels comfortable to do that with him. many intimate scenes become awkward because the actors feeling 'strange' and uncomfortable around each other. During the drama, we saw several times the accidentally moments where both actors touched intimate areas of their body. So, I give applause this two actor for their efforts to create such a wonderful chemistry. The way Seo Hyun Jin threw a lot of kisses to him, the way she touched his neck, or the way she 'eat and suck' his lips show us how the girl really enjoying those skinship with one of the fine man in Korea. On the other hand, Eric really knows how to lead his co-star and gave her comfortable 'place' to work.

Loved the way the actors took their parts and made them their own, such original personalities! Loved that even at ones lowest it showed how you can overcome anything if there is someone at your side sharing your griefs and joys. There is great beauty in the developing of a new love and great hope that springs from that. So it gives us, the viewers, hope for our lives in these lonely times. I don't think any one actor or actress stood out from the others because they were all good. I'd really like to purchase this one, so I'll keep looking to buy it. Thanks for this great movie. I really did like Eric but who wouldn't want to just hold him. Loved the kissing scenes they were so realistic! Ooh la la!

A very kudos to this writer, Park Hae Young and Also the Director Song Hyun-wook for the very beautiful, entertaining and heart warming drama both of you have made. From first episode to the end, it was very wonderful and not a single second of my time was wasted by this drama, it was very entertainting extremely up to the bones. I wish Park Hae Young will now debut in 3 biggest Channel in korea (MBC, SBS, KBS) to create again a wonderful drama like Another Miss Oh, cross fingers.

Eric did several times touch her boobs accidentally and Seo Hyun Jin always widely open her mouth to response his kisses even bit his lips several times.
If there is no drama crew, I'm sure they'll having sex right away LoL.

Both actors surely has attraction to each other. The way they used hand gestures and touch each private parts were more like they wanted each other than just being acting.
After wall kiss scene, Eric's walking a bit strange and it's clear both were mouning.
During kiss scenes, both obviously use their tounge.
Eric and Hyun Jin absolutely use this drama to release their desire.
I won't be surprised if they date in real life or they absolutely try to avoid each other to forget what they did during this drama.

A love that is so wonderful, admirable, intense, honest, fascinating, it makes my heart flutter, warm up and take flight to somewhere beyond imaginable. Being both in love with each other 100 to a scale of 100 and still they retain their own identities and personas by how they manifest their love for each other. They will make a great couple, their love for each other to transcend generations to come, that is if they will stay with each other in the end because they are victims of consequences, of the past that may haunt them for a long time. They both have wounds that may pierce through time and may not, at all, heal because the pain inflicted is beyong healing.
Quite a stellar of a scene is the love and guidance of Hae Young's mother for her. It is so heartwarming, old fashioned but so real it is 100 in a scale of 100. another outstanding point is the friendship between the guys in the Dokkyung household.

After read your comment, I just remember 1 kdrama that the main cast are bad, BAD GUY by Kim Nam Gil. But in every drama I ever watched, there is some reason why bad chara doing the evil things. In this drama too. Do kyung, who is such introvert guy lost his confident and trust because Prety Oh Hae Young. This is the reason why I love kdrama. They tell us that every person has their own reason, in their acts. Like in a real life...<keep waiting for episode 15!!

The worst thing you can tell your fiancé is that it sickens you how they eat. That right there is saying I dislike all of you. Jun 08 2016 2:43 am im from Indonesia and i enjoy this drama a lot!!!! i watch so many dramas for the last 5 years since korean wave hit Indonesia because of Boys Before Flower . There are a lot of drama that i love since then and i frequently always watch every new dramas from korea .( every night my family always watch the newest korean drama since then ). But i can say THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST KOREAN DRAMA ! at first i didnt expect that this will be good because to be honest , the main role arent popular. But after i watch this , they are really good! acting skills , emotions , they brought me to a beautiful story.. the intense of this drama...WOW DAEBAK!! the intense.. the emotions.. the feelings.. This drama make me realize why i keep watching korean dramas for this 5 years. and now i become a fan oh eric shinhwa <3 REALLY , YOU MUST WATCH THIS DRAMA. and LETS GIVE SUPPORT! They are deserve for it,, Another Oh Hae Young FIGHTING!!!!!!!!!! <3
Jun 07 2016 11:55 pm I love everything about the dramas.. casts, plots, scenes, soundtracks, etc xD as expected, most tvN's dramas are really satisfying~ when I know Eric joined the drama, I hoped that Jung Yoomi could take the role as I really love their chemistry in DOR... but then aftwr watching 2-3 eps of this, I'm glad Seo Hyunjin took it xD she deserves to be acknowledged as good actress! somehow, she sometimes reminds me of Park Ha from Rooftop Price ><

Special mention those six do kyung friends Ji Suk and brother Jeong Min .. You guys are hecka funny. What a stress reliever scene :-) You guys complete my day!

But I dont want this drama end with sad ending. How could there's no one single happiness for just oh hae young's love story? Can't wait for the next episode.

I did look a little more into this before posting. As @kay mentioned it topped 8%, which is a big deal for tvN. It even passed Misaeng (probably my favorite K-drama) to go to the 4th highest viewer rating for a tvN series in any time slot ever (found this info on Soompi). Only one more day until we get a new episode :)

Jun 04 2016 3:07 am I cannot begin to explain what a great korean drama this is! I am hoping that they give many viewers. I'm guessing that it is doing well, mainly because the drama was extended, so I'm taking that as a good sign. Also, I came to really really love the main actress. She acted her part perfectly and she just seems like a likable person in general. I think one reason why I seemed to really enjoy this drama was that it just had the most passionate scenes ever. Probably the best and most passionate kiss scene in kdrama history. Multiple props to the main actress and actor, they did such a great job. I cannot emphasize how well they did. Cannot wait for the other episodes to come out.

I saw it broke the tvN record for viewer ratings in their Monday/Tuesday slot recently (previously held by Cheese in the Trap). I thought I saw that it was even over 10%. Is it still not in the top 20 shows in that time slot (which would be mathematically impossible at 10%) to show up here or are they not posting the ratings for shows on this site anymore? Still loving this show by the way :)
Jun 02 2016 10:26 am This drama is great because: 1. My first time watching a k-drama character aged 30++ acts like how an actual 30++ year olds would (leaving the comedic relief aside tho) 2. Fast paced 3. The dialogues and characters are very honest -- they don't beat around the bush and many times says the exact same thing as how we viewers want them to say 4. Eventho the plot/conflict is simple, the way the story unfolds is not childish 5. Eventho sometimes the characters are frustrating in the way they handle things and the way they make decisions, we can understand WHY they do that -- tldr: characters are well developed 6. My first time liking a 'noisy k-drama' female lead which is a rare case -- she's not annoying nor childish 7. The female lead is how we want her to be -- vulnerable and emotional but can also be very strong and smart at the same time 8. The side characters aka the comic reliefs serves the job right -- as a relief to the already heavy main story
Although this drama is not yet finished but to me it's another great and satisfying romcom by tvN after Oh My Ghostess!

I find the whole casts are very well suited for their roles, especially I like to give credit to the OHY's parents and PDK's sister and buddy (Kim Ji Suk). They made the drama so funny and lively. It's a warm fuzzy drama that bring smiles, laughter, electric love chemistry, tears, frustration and very much relatable. Rate 5 stars out of 5!

May 31 2016 11:19 pm This drama's story seems more realistic than dots altho this was suppose to be the one with fantasy elements. War and disease and natural calamity are real and thats the background for dots but seeing the future and time space continuity are concepts that are yet to be concretely established, scientifically. But somehow, the story of OHY is more believable to me. Its the writing. You can be romantic without being cheesy. Thats what sets oh hae young apart from dots and people just doesnt realize that i guess. All they see is the star power of the cast and the writer when in actuality, it should be about the story and writing. Altho props to dots for having one of the best cinematography in kdrama. I dont know most of the main cast in this drama and have not seen any of their works except for do kyungs best friend and younger bro but i am really hooked, whereas in dots, i love most of the actors there and have seen their previous works but the drama as a whole didnt impress me as much. Guess thats how i conclude if a drama is really worth watching.

May 31 2016 4:50 pm Up until now I'm still trying to finish DOTS but I stopped at episode 14. I find it very cheesy. Although I am a big fan of Soong Joong Ki, I actually enjoyed his chemistry with Moon Chae Won in Innocent Man. Don't crush me...just being honest. But this Oh Hae Young is a drama meant to hit every part of our emotions. The characters are relatable. The kisses are real. It shows their passion and the acting is superb. The storyline makes you feel eager to see the next episode right away. I love the chemistry of Eric Mun and Seo Hyun Jin. They look really perfect in this drama. I am so in love with this drama. I hope there's more beautiful surprises in the upcoming episodes and I hope the ending won't be a disappointment. Hoping for the best for this beautifully made drama.

May 28 2016 11:12 am So happy that everyone is enjoying OHA and praising Seo Hyun-jin. But I believe Eric is doing a decent job too. He’s portraying a character opposite to his other roles (e.g. play boy in Que sera sera, spoiled chaebol in Phoenix, naughty character in Spy M and Discovery of love). Here his playing a very quite, perfectionist geeky character who seems cold outside but is very warm/caring inside. It’s very difficult to notice such a character who is very quite while his lead heroin is a spunky talkative girl. But his eyes, his facial and mimic, and even his physical moves are all perfect, that you can feel his guilt and his love and why he’s suffering. I think here he’s even better than many trained actors considering his background as an idol. He is so good that every co-stars of him can shine, even in a bad production drama like Spy M, HYS seems good to me.

Yay, I was waiting for this moment. I can't wait for Ep 8 to come out today! I like Park Do Kyung and quirky Oh Hae Young pair but I just like her more with Han Tae Jin. And I kinda feel bad for the pretty Oh Hae Young
BTW anyone else here ship Park Soo Kyung and Lee Jin Sang, they're both so funny I roll over just laughing when they're on screen.

Not as 'dark' and 'complex' as signal or misaeng. It's 'lighter' than those drama, but it worth to watch if you want a 'fun' story :-)

It's the sweetest thing I have ever listened to. I was wondering whether we will ever meet her lover. Was he French? He did not look French at all in the end of the world/warehouse/bed scene... Another Miss Oh is my favorite show right now. Great development of the (pretty) Miss Oh's relationship with her b*tchy ex-future mother-in-law. Great interaction between (funny) Miss Oh and Park Do-kyung. Great music when he comes into her place to celebrate her birthday. I truly wonder how it will all spin out.

May 15 2016 7:49 pm Do kyung seems to be falling for dirt oh hae young but if her ex fiance is really innocent and only broke off their wedding to spare her, i'd like to know how the writers gonna make her end up with do kyung. The writing has been excellent so far. Really (pleasantly) surprised with this drama, never thought it would be this brilliant, oh and the songs are equally awesome. Kudos to team Oh Hae Young

May 11 2016 7:18 am It's true the saying that the first and most important of a drama is the storyline aka the script. Acting is second to that. This is one of a great drama. No matter which actor and actress play the roles, this drama will still be great. I remember I like Eric's drama Super Rookie. It is one of my favorites. But aside from that, I never like any other of his dramas. It's not his fault that I don't like any of his other dramas beside Super Rookie, it's just that those dramas' stories are just so so. His acting in this drama shows his depth of acting and proves to me that he is indeed a decent actor. And at first, I was indeed doubtful to start watching this drama, I don't know the lead female is an added factor. I'm glad I decide to give it a shot. I've been missing out the craveness of watching korean dramas because there's no other dramas I've been really into after One More Happy Ending ended. I just watched them to fill the time. I hope it stays great until the end and how I wish this is aired everyday.

And to think it is from the same director who did Marriage not dating. The plot is funny, the leads have chemistry and the story is exciting. Must watch!

It doesn't help Seo Hyun Jin or the drama when you bash her co-star just for the sake of bashing. Seo Hyun Jin's loud character is overdone and annoying in some of the scenes.

It's not like KSH X GJ couple pairing was any better than this before The Thief released but hey?
