Apple is among the pioneers in computing technology. The Cupertino-based tech giant has been consistently developing superior devices that offer the best computing experience. According to the latest reports, the tech company is gearing up to introduce its M2 Pro and M3 chips based on its 3nm process. The tech giant has reportedly assigned the manufacturing of the 3nm M3 and M2 Pro processors to the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). This was reported by the Taiwanese publication DigiTimes Asia. The report also highlighted the competition between TSMC and Samsung to secure the order from 3nm chips. The Taiwanese company will likely begin manufacturing 3nm chips in the second of half the year. Prominent tech journalist, Mark Gurman, claimed that the M2 Pro will likely be used in the 14-inch and 16-inch Macbook Pros and the high-end Mac Mini. Gurman said that the M3 chips will be used in an all-new 15-inch MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Air, new iMac and most likely a new 12-inch MacBook. Some reports suggest that another chip, the M2 Max, will also be based on a 3nm process. This chip according to MacRumours will be ideal for top-of-the-line MacBook Pro configurations and Mac Studio.RECOMMENDEDSTORIES FOR YOU
