Abstract

"Design -Build (BD) is known as a construction planning method that combines two processes of design and building into one single contract with an only contractor who is responsible for both processes. The benefits of this method can be visible such as boosting constructing pace of projects, well-controlling costs from their initial stages of designing, allowing to apply constructability (i.e. solutions make construction stage more convenient and easier). To ensure these benefits, however, design of which quality is influenced by 30 requirements, according to researchers, should be considered as one of the most important step to manage in the whole BD projects. Based on the above 30 requirements have been suggested by experts in this field. Specifically, a study using a research method of AHP -Analytic Hierarchy Process to determine the level of priority groups for quality requirements and support to project executors having a general view in the project quality control.
