Joined Aug 26, 2018 Messages 5 Reaction score 0 Have some connection issue with regards to PC and monitor screen. When I connected the hdmi to monitor, there is no image shown and shows a 'check signal cable' error. Changed a new hdmi cable, but the problem still persists. Screen showed up only after I restarted the PC and off the monitor screen a couple of times. Anyone knows what's the issue? Sort by date Sort by votes B

Joined Aug 26, 2018 Messages 5 Reaction score 0 I don't think there is a VGA socket to connect. I've just plugged in from HDMI port to the monitor's HDMI port. You may take a look at the back panel of this CPU model :

I understand what I mean is did you connect to the add on card area as shown in the above picture. Probably that one is confusing for you to understanding, I post a more modern PC with modern connection. My question is did you connect to number 12 which is a HDMI port but not number 8. Dont think I’ve changed any function. I’ve only clicked on the HDMI source on it. Tried using a DP to HDMI cable to see if it works, but problem still persists Upvote 0 Downvote

In this case, please try to log in windows safe mode. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...ndows-10-92c27cff-db89-8644-1ce4-b3e5e56fe234 referring the above link and try the login "From a black or blank screen" third option and see if you can login? once login try remove the gpu driver and restart. once you are able to login windows again try download a new gpu driver. currently I am assuming your GPU is still working.
