Jan 2, 2019 51 4 10,545 I have a H110m motherboard and it has a m.2 slot. I already checked the manual if it supports nvme ssd's but there really isn't anything that specifically mentions it, the closest thing I can find is that it said "m.2 socket 3" . It can physically fit a nvme ssd (I think) but dunno if it will work and don't want to waste money too. Solution So this one. www.asus.com

I think it does but it only supports up to Gen 2 x 2 or was it Gen 3 x 2. Welp, I guess I'll just wait till I have enough money to buy a new mobo, procie and nvme ssd. Upvote 0 Downvote J

Yes it does support NVMe SSDs. Referring from the "Mobo Manual", it says this on page vi "1 x 10Gb/s M.2 Socket 3 with M Key, type 2242/2260/2280 storage devices support (both PCIE & SATA mode)". Upvote 0 Downvote USAFRet

"10Gb/s" = about 1/3 the performance of a current PCIe 3.0 x4 drive. Upvote 0 Downvote You must log in or register to reply here. Share: Facebook X Bluesky LinkedIn Reddit Tumblr WhatsApp Email Share Link
