PHI 350: Philosophy of Religion

1994-1996 Catalog Description

What is the relation between faith and reason? Does God exist, and if so, what can be said about God? Can we reconcile the goodness of God with human and animal suffering? We will conduct a systematic inquiry into these questions which form the basis of Western religious beliefs.

SUGGESTED PREREQUISITES: One prior course in philosophy

NOTES: Offered annually.
